In the earliest years of the 20th century, the nuisance that is pollution was rarely understood nor taken seriously. Foundaries across the planet spewed forth black clouds while the rest of society carried on, blissfully unaware of the disasterous effects it potentially had on our lives. For the denizens of the small city of Donora, they would undergo a horrendous experience that would soon awaken everyone to the dangers of what those dark clouds could carry...

In the mid-1800s, two fur trappers had found their way deep into the backwoods that make up the forgotten reaches of the BitterRoot Mountains. Their mission was to aquire pelts, a tedious task both had assumed would be an easy feat to accomplish. Their bounty should have been plentiful in the isolating woods, however, set back after set back forced them to journey deeper into the unknown wilds. It was here, while hunting for beaver, they would realize they were not alone. Something was watching them. Following them. And soon, the tables would turn and the hunters would become the hunted...

Her name is Frau Perchta, a christmas witch found in Alpine folklore, who wanders the villages with a pair of oversized scissors, ready to cut open the bellys of ill-behaved children. Life inside a WW2 concentration camp was less than ideal for many reason: the meager food rations, the torture, the looming fear of executions. It's amazing there were some who managed to embue their fellow prisoners with hope; and none could do it better than Mr. Fritz. He was an eccentric fellow, always sharing a smile on his face and was quick to instill a sense of laughter in those who would have otherwise have broken long ago if it wasn't for him. However, something odd seemed to follow him. From early on, the peculiar little doll who had managed to erapture so many lives, seemed to have taken on a life of his own...
