#6 - Being full time creators, why Bangalore is best for upcoming creators, our first fan moments & what it takes to produce a #1 rated Podcast about your salary secrets w/ Shreevar Chhotaria

1h 22m · Published 03 Sep 04:30

Shreevar Chhotaria is the co-host/co-producer of the very popular (#12 on Apple podcasts India charts as of writing this) podcast from The Ken "Cost To Company". I met Shreevar a few weeks ago through a networking event and was hooked onto his vlogs and personal podcast very aptly named "That's what Shree said". Having studied advertising in Symbiosis Centre for Media & Communications Pune, Shree worked at Social (the same Social's we all love for their food and beers) as a content and communications executive, JioSavn in their audio streaming department and now at The Ken as a host and producer.

We talk about why is Bangalore the best place to be a creator in India? What does it take to create a #1 podcast on Apple Charts? What are the behind the scenes of podcasting and the popular production from the Ken "Cost To Company", our first fan moments and much more in this episode of The GyaanCentral Podcast. It's always amazing to meet and talk to other super talented creators from the city that I can take inspiraiton from and Shree rightly fits that bill. Highly recommending checking out his podcast CTC, That's what Shree said and his comedy shorts on Instagram (all links down below)

My favourite CID episode. You'd be surprised how engaging CID is, and how much you can learn from deconstructing their storylines.

Some parting thorughts on research: Compiling these show notes clearly prove how tedious and intimidating researching on crypto is. The best way to go about it is to keep it light and fun.

Start listening to the podcasts first. Explore more in areas you're curious about. I think that's crucial - curiosity. Losing curiosity is like losing your thrusters during a spacewalk. You'll be helpless and lose control.

It's a long term process, so don't rush into anything you dont understand, and you'll realise there's a lot of that in this area.
