Hello there! Welcome to Professor Jacob’s twenty-eighth lesson on Pokémon biology. Today, we will be discussing Sandshrew's evolved form Sandslash: the... you guessed it... Mouse Pokémon. This incredibly resilient creature is capable of living in a wide variety of environments, including the icy mountains of Alola. So like Sandshrew, Sandslash also has a steel/ice type Alolan variant. And to help us discuss the Alolan Sandslash, we have a special guest professor: Prof. Lucas Palm from the Alola region! Prof. Palm is an expert on Alolan variants and a former colleague of Prof. Jacob, so his knowledge is very crucial for today's lesson.

Hello there! Welcome to Professor Jacob’s twenty-seventh lesson on Pokémon biology. In today's lesson, we will be discussing Sandshrew: the Mouse Pokémon. Wait, seriously? Another "Mouse" Pokémon? What even is a "Mouse"? Anyway, despite also being a "Mouse" Pokémon, Sandshrew is nothing like Pikachu or Raichu. Sandshrew is a ground-dwelling creature that loves spending its time burrowing and heating itself near volcanoes. This Pokémon has an Alolan variant, which is a steel/ice type, and it enjoys thriving in snowy mountains and sliding across the ground with "bullet-like speed". Yes, that fast. And as always, there's a pop quiz today. So pay attention and take detailed notes on both variations of Sandshrew!
