On this week's episode of the Northeast Newscast, Managing Editor Abby Hoover interviews actress Charisse Taylor about "Killers of the Flower Moon," based on the true story of members of the Osage Native American tribe of Osage County, Oklahoma, being murdered after oil is found on their land in the 1920's. They discuss Charisse's role in the film, her connection to Historic Northeast, her thoughts on casting, filming and working with director Martin Scorsese, and how her medical background played a role in the film, which was shot on location in Oklahoma. The film is in theaters locally starting this week.

Saturday, October 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., will be the tour's 10th year, this year featuring the beautiful Scarritt Renaissance neighborhood.This year's tour will be feature five historic homes on Gladstone Boulevard, including the Kansas City Museum, and the Longs' former motor garage on North Indiana.
