"I have to go get botox tomorrow." Often when I say this I get the responses of "Oh you don't need botox" or "Oh if you do that you'll look frozen". Guess what I've been doing botox regularly for years now. I do it because botox allows me to breath through my nose and takes away my headaches that I otherwise have every single day. On top of that its stop wrinkles from forming on my forehead so that's why you say I don't need. I already have it. Botox has been tabu for years. But the thing is it was originally created to help with pain management because it freezes the muscles. So I decide it was time to start dismantling this stigma and had my dentist, who happens to also do my botox injector, come on the show and talk all about botox and fillers. Dr. Andrew Martin, of Comprehensive Dental Care, not only talks about what botox can do beyond helping get rid of those pesky lines but also injects me on camera so you can see first hand that it's not scary.
