Back Stage With Spike

It's been a year since I sat with my good friend Logi! We had a blast just like old times taking about what's new with the band. We find out Logi makes his own guitar pedals and makes his own maple syrup! We talk cigars and our preference for indie music over signed bands. As always we can't help talking guitars and equipment! The band is gaining traction and getting lots of radio play, we discussed the whole Motley Crue and Kiss saga going on. Logi plays a great game of Yes or No. Of course, we play some awesome MWS tracks. We talk about Twitter, love it or hate it you need it to get your message out there. We talked about recording techniques and what it's like to put your heart and soul into something. What a great episode with Mr. Simon Daniels from Autograph! I had a blast talking with Simon and remembering all the old clubs from Brooklyn and L.A. from the 80's and 90's! We had a lot of laughs as Simon shared some great stories about growing up in Brazile, coming to L.A. and his early musical accomplishments. He shared some great tips for traveling with your guitar, solving writer's block and dealing with fans. We also talked about his solo career and new video coming. Felix and I sit and drink beer and talk about what this former drummer of Carmilla has planned for his future. Felix has left Carmilla and his drumming duties to focus on work and home life. He talks about his engagement to his love and his new job. He will continue with music with a very relaxed attitude. Wow! What a blast I had with American transplant to Sweden, Tim Scott from Methane! I sit with lead vocalist and bassist of the metal band Methane. We talk about living in Sweden, the food, and customs. Tim talks about the band's origins and touring, recording and favorite equipment. Italian food just isn't the same in Sweden.
