Reliably Bad describes themselves as, a group of cats who want to make your booty shake, now if that doesn’t get your tail waggin’ uhhh I don’t know what will! Reliably Bad is a funktastic, groovy smoothie, and in fact very Gluteus Maximus jiggling (so their description is quite right) octet! Welcome to episode 2, season 2 of Canary Sessions! This week we are happy to bring you a band called The Genuine! The Genuine is an Indie/Americana band that blends harmony, heavy vocals & punchy melodies, supported by fresh rhythmic foundation. Normally I say something funny here but this time I wanted to say something a little more heartfelt...Me and Hudson are so incredibly thankful for the great response that we have gotten with this show. We just wanted to thank you all for watching, and we still can't believe that we both get to create something we love, and have people love it back. It's incredible to have amazing talented artists, and bands, like The Genuine, our past artists, and ones that are coming soon, on our show. I hope they are having as much fun, as we are having making it! Also to our friends that help Hudson and I with every session, by setting up mics, wrapping cable, helping film, and so much more, they are life savers! Welcome back to season 2 of Canary Sessions! We are back and better than ever, some might say sexier even, but I will let you decide that. On our season 2 premiere episode, we couldn't be more happier, than to have our friends of Propersleep to start us off with a bang! Propersleep is a Pop-Punk band based out of Raleigh, North Carolina! What makes these guys a fantastic band, (besides just being great musicians and great humans, that give us all that early 2000's pop-punk nostalgia fix) is that they gave us T-shirts! Yes that's right, they gave us T-shirts. I mean I don't want to be that guy, because I'm a nice boy that has a smile for a mile, but come on...other bands need to step it up now. I'm talking about bring us shirts, bring us hoodies, I want cake, soap, race car bed, Colbie Caillat CD's, you know the basics of gift giving. They are an Indie rock band with style, I mean the lead singer’s name is Cade so you know it’s going to be cool. Like how many people are named Cade that’s awesome! My name is just Kivett, which is the name of a drive in High Point, but Cade has that nice ring to it, the kind of ring that makes you go, “woah that’s pretty cool”. Hmmm I wonder if I can change my name to Cade, Cade Cook, now that's a boy you don't want to bring home to mom and dad right there. Anyway just sit back, relax, watch, listen, and enjoy! Welcome to episode five of Canary Sessions! We have a very special episode for you today! For this episode we feature an amazing singer songwriter by the name of AnnaBeth Berry! Take a journey through her songs, as her voice takes you to the country meadows in the spring, and her lyrics take you to a storm raging off the Cliffs of Dover, and you standing atop of this cliff looking down at the waves thrashing against the rocky coast, and you think to yourself about turning back and finding shelter from this harrowing hazard, but you find yourself unable to move. You're entranced by this storm, a storm turned symphony! The waves the percussion, the lighting the strings, the wind the Chorus, and the thunder the applause, but wait!...The wind picks you up off your feet, yet you remain calm, you don't think about the wind pushing you back and splitting you in twain, no, all you are thinking about is... that you are flying.
