Cheri Huster is the principal at Daly Elementary School in the Fayette R-III School District. After being identified as a “focus” school by DESE, Cheri and her teacher leadership team embarked on a journey on school improvement that began with the Missouri Professional Learning Community training and continues today through the District Continuous Improvement (or DCI) process. Focusing first on building culture and developing a strong mission, Daly built strong collaborative teams with a focus on learning essential standards and showed tremendous growth in student learning and staff moral that they’re happy to share with others!
