Mike Tamburo is a multi-instrumentalist, music educator, sound and video artist, sound therapist and meditation teacher who has spent his life exploring the power of music. Early in his career, Mike was known for his string instrument playing (hammered dulcimer, guitar and shahi baaja). Mike has explored Kundalini Yoga, energy work, the use of sound therapeutically and the effects of sound on consciousness, perception and self-healing. He has recorded more than 65 albums, and through his love of deep listening, sustained tones and psychoacoustics, he has developed a passion for working with gongs and other tuned metal instruments. He offers his unique perspective on sound in this conversation.

Music meditation, allowing hope and an open heart: an original composition by Natalie Brown. Featuring violin, wind chimes and shamanic drum beats. There are two West African shamanic drum beats, one signifying the masculine and the other the feminine. This is the ying and the yang balance. May this music be balancing and harmonizing for you! This song is also the theme for Natalie's podcast series, Sounds Heal Podcast. For more about Natalie Brown, visit http://www.soundshealstudio.com or http://www.facebook.com/soundshealstudio
