Our episode with Megan and Sidney Cruz continues as we learn about Sidney's experience at the mental health hospital she was admitted to for a week.
She was suffering from physical pain from being so tired from the depression and anxiety - she didn't want to live anymore. She says that she was always thinking about all the places where she could commit suicide. It was always in the back of her head.
She also says that most teens don't really want to die - they just want to end the suffering, because they don't see a future. They don't want to deal with anything emotional. Healing is hard and takes time and patience and they get tired
and just want to give up.
We all agree that our society can cause too much pressure on our students.
We are all for mental health days.
Megan felt completely helpless when she had to leave Sidney behind in the Mental Health Facility and Sidney was scared but at the same time she felt a sense of relief from her own thoughts.
Today Sidney has learned to deal and is very proud of herself and is trying to teach others that are in the same situation to ask for help. She wants to go and study psychology and teach it at highschool.
Megan says that Sidney changed the entire dynamic in their family for the better - to be more open - and they have gotten a lot closer.
Sidney says it is ok to ask for help - it changed her life - it doesn't matter your background - Pain is Pain - Abandonment is Abandonment.

of 4 children that is trying her best, but was dealing with severe injuries from a car accident with an 18 wheeler who missed many warning signs that her youngest daughter was in trouble.
It is a story of a teenager dealing with being socially rejected by her peers as well as shunned by her soccer coach. A teenager that is overwhelmed with all the pressures of life - dealing with friends suicides, parents of friends suicides as
well as all the demands of exams at school.
On top of all that she got raped during a drunken episode and has never forgiven herself for losing her virginity that way and struggles with PTSD from the physical memories of that night.
Megan and Sidney talk about the intense pressures of the very affluent neighborhood they live in in Dallas Texas and how peer pressure is causing lots of issues in todays teens.
The worst part about being part of the Park Cities, Highland Park school system is that the parents are more involved and talk more shit about the kids than the kids do.
There is even a Facebook page called PARK CITIES CHATTER where adults blast children and talk bad about them. It is a society of trophy wives that hire nannies to take care of their children and
love to spread rumors. They will show up wasted when they pick up their children and proudly tell that they can fill an entire bottle of wine into their Starbucks cups.

Sue's precious daughter Grace Loncar committed suicide at age 16, almost 4 years ago and her Dad Brian Loncar, a prominent Texas personal injury lawyer "The Texas Strong Arm"
passed away 2 days after his daughter's funeral from an accidental drug overdose. They say that he died of a broken heart.
The pain and suffering Sue is enduring is too much to comprehend, yet she shows so much grace and strength and her spirit that surrounds her is kind and so very loving.
This first episode is all about the time before the tragedies - the good times, the happy times, the fun times.
Sue shares about the moment she walked into Brian's law office and he stopped a meeting he was in to give her his full attention and proposed to her and her 3 children after only 6 weeks of knowing her
with a 7 karat diamond ring. They were soulmates from the moment they met and they wanted more children on top of her 3 and his 1.
Brian was a recovering alcoholic that was fun and entertaining and the 2 of them had a blast together. Sean Cribbin has been able to heal a tremendous amount over the last couple of years since he escaped the most notorious serial killer in Canada, Bruce McArthur.
This episode gives the executive producers, Tami Rydall, Craig Huckerby as well as producer Bill Greer and musical director Steve Sauder and of course Sean Cribbin an opportunity to really talk about how they came together to make this amazing team and produce their first full documentary.
Tami, a single mother of 5 daughters says that it is such an important story to be told and she is so honored and grateful that Sean trusted her with his story and her passion for this documentary is far beyond what she can explain.
Billy wanted to make sure that Sean's wish to remember all 8 victims would be honored. Here are the names of the victims Skandaraj Navaratnam, Abdulbasir Faizi, Majeed Kayhan, Soroush Mahmudi, Kirushna Kumar Kanagaratnam, Dean Lisowick, Selim Esen and Andrew Kinsman.

It was most important for Billy that the person that would interview Sean would have a big heart and not judge in order to make Sean have setbacks since you are talking about a lot of really far out stuff.
Tami was perfect for the job.
Billy remembers the time when he was homeless 25 years ago and Sean and his partner at the time took him in and that changed the course of his life and got him back on his feet.
About 3/4 way through filming Sean had a bacterial pneumonia that went septic. He was dying. The hospital told his partner Steve that Sean would not be coming home and to get his family together. The sepsis had gone into his
bloodstream. His organs were shutting down and he almost was put into a medical induced coma. By some miracle he survived, but was in the hospital for 6 weeks.
At the same time executive producer Craig experienced severe heart trouble and had to have open heart surgery.
Sean is using this documentary as a catalyst to spread Internet Safety Awareness for everyone. He wants the hashtag #tellsomeone to trend everywhere so people always tell someone they know where they are going and with whom.
"HEALING, EMPATHY, UNDERSTANDING, LOVE AND PEACE" is what they want to spread across the world with this documentary.
We talk about the touching scenes from the celebration called Illumination Night which honored all the victims and Sean got to plant a tree and hug lots of people.
Sean says that was a cathartic moment for him and he was able to let a lot of stuff go.
At the time of this recording the documentary has won over 50 awards worldwide from film festivals.
Billy's biggest dream for the documentary was to make sure that their friend was totally healed and taken care of.
There were many critical moments during filming, but they pulled it off.
Sean felt very lost after almost becoming the 9th victim and he wanted to make sure to have his story heard and that "HE MATTERS".
