Reviewers: Scooter Mann, LJ Donnell, Verity Sainte Marie, Austin Travis, and Max Baskin Editing: David Allen Show-runner Information * Who's the show-runner(s) and what is their title? JC De La Torre, Creator and Head Writer Show Information * What is the story of why you started your show? Continuum Force was a show four years in the making. When we started, there weren't many audio dramas doing time travel. As ubergeeks, we had a love for Doctor Who and Stargate SG-1. We thought what would be better than combining the two concepts, sprinkle in a bit of Ancient Alien theory and alt-history to make a fun, thrilling adventure. Unfortunately, one of our main actors took ill and eventually passed away. We're happy to say we were able to use some of his audio in episode one because doing this project without him was just unacceptable. You'll hear him as the wild pirate Charles Vane. In addition to visiting different points in history and playing around with what-if scenarios, we also wanted to bring attention to a lesser-known aspect of the LGBTQIA community with one of our characters, Lesley Barber. The character is ACE, and one of the storylines will hang a lantern on it to help educate people on what that means. * When did this show first air? 1/8/2019 * What genre(s) apply to your show: Military Sci-Fi, Time-Travel Episode Information * What's the name of the episode you want us to use? Wheel in the Sky * What is the episode number (and season if applicable)? S1E9 Special Guests: Austin Travis, David Allen, LJ Donnell, Max Baskin, and Verity Sainte Marie.

Reviewers: Scooter Mann, LJ Donnell, Michelle Morrison, Maggie Allen, and Max Baskin Editing: David Allen Show-runner Information * Who's the show-runner(s) and what is their title? Faith McQuinn Show Information * What is the story of why you started your show? It started as a short story I wrote roughly 20 years ago. And then I turned it into a short film (that I did not love). The story was something that stayed with me, so about 10 years ago, I wrote a novella with plans to make it into a feature film. Knowing that I would never be able to raise the money to make it as I wanted, the idea of an audio drama became more and more appealing. And then I just jumped in with both feet and went for it. * When did this show first air? 9/9/2017 * What genre(s) apply to your show (e.g. horror, post apocalypse, comedy...): Drama with a dash a mystery Episode Information * What's the name of the episode you want us to use? First Date * What is the episode number (and season if applicable)? Ep1 Special Guests: David Allen, LJ Donnell, Maggie Allen, Max Baskin, and Michelle Morrison.

Reviewers: Scooter Mann, LJ Donnell, Eric Honour, Maggie Allen, and Max Baskin Editing: David Allen Show-runner Information * Who's the show-runner(s) and what is their title? Lindsay Graham Show Information * What is the story of why you started your show? It's purely coincidental any similarities the show has with the 2016 election. Graham was kicking around the idea for at least 5 years or so before it aired. Graham began to think of this story as far back as even the early 90s. He asked himself the question "What would it take for one or two or three people to make a decision so that it's not a peaceful transition?" * When did this show first air? 11/27/2016 * What genre(s) apply to your show (e.g. horror, post apocalypse, comedy...): Political thriller Episode Information * What's the name of the episode you want us to use? (if it includes non English words, how are they pronounced) * What is the episode number (and season if applicable)? season 1 episode 1 * When was it published? 11/20/2016 Special Guests: David Allen, Eric Honour, LJ Donnell, Maggie Allen, and Max Baskin.

Audio Drama Showcase: Gay Future

Reviewers: Scooter Mann, Maggie Allen, Michelle Morrison, Diana Raynes, and Max Baskin Editing: David Allen Show Information * Who's the show-runner(s) and what is their title? Connor Wright (co-creator/writer/Mikey), Christina Friel (co-creator/writer/President Clay), Ben Lapidus (sound designer/composer) What is the story of why you started your show? Connor and I (Christina) met in our sketch comedy group in college in New York. We both studied TV writing, and once we graduated we realized that that dream was pretty far fetched as young twenty-somethings with no prior credits. At that time, podcasts were becoming more mainstream and we decided that this idea would be a lot cooler (and a lot more feasible) if it was something you could listen to. We starting writing this in late 2016 (!!!) inspired by gayness and our general fear of Mike Pence/Clay Aiken. Enter Ben, a longtime friend and sound design wonderkid into the mix. Once he created and showed us the theme song, we knew we were in it for the long haul. Over the next two years, we wrote and rewrote, and then recorded and mixed everything out of Ben's bedroom (sorry Ben.) What genre(s) apply to your show (e.g. horror, post apocalypse, comedy...): Comedy, Narrative, Young Adult, Satire Episode Information * Name: Gay Academy * Episode Number: 1 * Publish Date: 1/3/2019 Background: No prior knowledge needed since it's the pilot! :D Special Guests: David Allen, Diane Raynes, Maggie Allen, Max Baskin, and Michelle Morrison.

Audio Drama Showcase: Blood Culture

46m · Published 12 Jun 12:00
Reviewers: Scooter Mann, LJ Donnell, Keith Riley, Michelle Morrison, and Max Baskin Editing: David Allen Show Information * Who's the show-runner(s) and what is their title? Lance Dann Dr What is the story of why you started your show? I've been working in radio drama and audio for a couple of decades and had produced some early podcast dramas about 11 years ago. I'd been seeking funding for project for some years and Blood Culture came together with the backing of an organisation called the Wellcome Trust (who do bio-medical research and fund public engagement with their work). I wanted to tell a bio-medical who-done-it - a mystery where you had to engage with science to figure the story out. I was also concerned about the behaviour of big tech companies and the cult like atmosphere that surrounds them (and their heads) this also informed the story. Finally I wanted to tell a cracking story with a lot of punch-ups, great music and a touch of humour. Hopefully Blood Culture did all this... What genre(s) apply to your show (e.g. horror, post apocalypse, comedy...): Thriller Episode Information * Name: Episode 1 Part 1 * Episode Number: 1 * Publish Date: 4/27/2017 Background: A'isha works at the tech company Meta... she isn't happy there but is just doing her job... then an old friend comes to visit and turn her life on its head. Special Guests: David Allen, Keith Riley, LJ Donnell, Max Baskin, and Michelle Morrison.

Audio Drama Showcase: Still Lives

49m · Published 08 May 12:00
Reviewers: Scooter Mann, LJ Donnell, Verity Sainte Marie, Austin Travis, and Max Baskin Editing: David Allen Today we’ll be listening to Still Lives, which premiered in March of 2019 and was created by Colton Flick, James Currie, Sarah Schnebly (Shneb-lee), and Ríoghnach (REE-oh-noch) Robinson. Colton and Jamie had previously worked together on The Magical History of Knox County. When that show officially ended, they knew they wanted to work on something else, so they made a list of people they'd love to work with and started by emailing their two long-shot picks. Both of them wound up being interested, so they all started writing. Ríoghnach pitched Still Lives -- including the title, character names, and first episode synopsis -- pretty early on. They all loved the idea, so they picked it as their first project. This episode is called “The Quiet”, and it was originally published on March 4th, 2019. Show-runner Information * Who's the show-runner(s) and what is their title? No shorunner specifically. We have a four person general creative staff: Colton Flick, James Currie, Sarah Schnebly, and Ríoghnach Robinson Show Information * What is the story of why you started your show? Kennedy Phillips Show Information * What is the story of why you started your show? Kennedy first dug into the world of directing in college, but ran into difficulties really making his ideas come to life. Then he realized his childhood love of audio drama was a means of getting back into directing again. Over time he overcame self doubt to make this production a reality. In this, the world of Hearth, magic is performed by insulting the very laws of nature. During their previous adventures, Magus Elgar and his apprentice Udo Malaki met and accidentally destroyed the home of Dr. Horatio. Now they are on the hunt for the Scientific Tools Augmented with Magical Power (or STAMPs) before they fall into the wrong hands. * When did this show first air? 2018 * What's the show's website? https://www.maguselgar.com * What genre(s) apply to your show (e.g. horror, post apocalypse, comedy...): Fantasy, Comedy, Science Fiction Episode Information * What's the name of the episode you want us to use? (preferably where we can download it from) https://www.maguselgar.com/episodes/episode/792ba216/magus-elgar-s01-ep-08-ether-i-hardly-knew-her * Please summarize what we need to know about the story up until this point, for the episode to make sense: Magus Elgar and his apprentice Udo Malaaki are casters, magic users in the magical world of hearth, where insulting the laws of nature (called the elements) allow you to channel their bruised egos into magic power! Together, they have discovered a world beyond their understanding: a world of science, earth! There, they meet Dr. Graw Horatio and his assistant Kaylee Fawn, and accidentally blow up their lab and home. As a result, the doctor’s equipment from earth has mutated into Scientific Tools Augmented with Magical Power. (Or STAMPs for short) Now they scour Hearth together trying to find them before they fall into the wrong hands, or unravel reality as they know it. Up until now, much of their efforts to find the stamp has resulted in disasters and collateral damage, from nugget raptors, to a village set ablaze. In the last few episodes, Dr. Horatio has found a way to track the STAMPs with his old radio (a STAMP which now gives very Cryptic clues on its whereabouts) Will the Magical Anomaly Interdimensional Locators (MAIL) find it in time? Special Guests: David Allen, Maggie Allen, Matt "Olaf" Hinton, and Max Baskin.
