The show began to take form in the summer of 2016, while Tavius felt like his world was crumbling around him. This caused him to think about a world where it didn’t just /feel/ like it was the end of the world, but it was, in fact, the actual Apocalypse. He pitched the idea to several people close to him and after about a year of testing and production work, the show was born.
Show Runner(s): Tavius Marshall - Producer
Released on: 2018
Genre: Comedy, Call-in Radio, Post-Apocalypse
Reviewers: Keith Riley, Lisa Watson, Max Baskin, Morgan Hazelwood, Scooter Mann
Post Production: David Allen

Spooning in the Apocalypse is a passion project/another desperate creative attempt by established Nashville artist, Tavius Marshall. In the summer of 2016 the weird idea, and concept seedlings started sprouting in his brain while his real life was falling apart. Tavius and his wife Ashley Litchford-Marshall, are multi-racial artists who having already started the podcast The Mixer: Legal to Brew a show about multi-racial issues, Tavius wanted to take podcasting to even weirder places. Making a universe where not only does it all feel like the Apocalypse, but it, in actual fact, is; and we are just trying to work through it. Pitching this to chosen persons close to him, Nathan Connor joined as “Radd Flink” and Head Writer/Co-Story Creator , Drew Collins joined as “Shaum Defroyen” and Head Sound Designer/Sound Producer/Music Composer/Audio Tsar, and Ashley Litchford-Marshall joined as the voice of “The Spoon”, Media Designer and Photographer. A year of concept testing and pre-production later, the first episode of Spooning in the Apocalypse was born, the rest is the future. Special Guests: David Allen, Keith Riley, Lisa Watson, Max Baskin, and Morgan Hazelwood.

Tell me about how your show started?
A one off episode in an anthology series called Night Terrors. What inspired me was a series of books I wanted to write. I developed it back in the mid 90s. Researched everything it was going to be about. But after a few rejections from publishers I started rethinking how I could present it. Then with some work on how to present the tale in the audio medium. I developed The Byron Chronicles as a podcast series. Thoreau is an avid audio drama listener and a retail veteran. He’s a huge fan of supernatural stories which lead him to create a tale about a brick and mortar store called Hellomart, that is patronized by the most vile of creatures.

Tell me about how your show started?
I was an avid listener of audiodrama, and a retail veteran, which I thought was fertile ground for a comedy. The supernatural element was added because I am a huge fan of the genre and I realized that in a store like HelloMart the most evil creatures are the customers.
Episode Info:
Daniel Richmond was a wall street criminal who did his time and is now being forced to complete a prison work release program in the small town of Strickland, at the local big box store, HelloMart. He quickly discovers that the store was built on the buried gates of hell itself and is subject to attack by numerous supernatural creatures, some of whom are also employees, including a tribe of elves who work in the automotive department and traded all the shelves to a leprechaun for shoes. His first day did not go smoothly, with Daniel alienating various employees, including the assistant manager, Chet, and Emily, a fellow employee who rebuffs his clumsy attempts to ask her out on a date. He ended his first day, after accidentally opening a vortex to hell, by going out after work to the bar next door with his new Co-workers. This episode picks up the next day. Special Guests: David Allen, Lisa Watson, LJ Donnell, Matt "Olaf" Hinton, and Max Baskin.

Tell us about how your show started?
I'd been writing a series about aliens living in Niagara Falls, but it was clear that I was in over my head on both the writing and production side. So I brainstormed ideas for a show that would be more episodic, and easier to produce, and came up with "fairy-tale hospital show".. It turned out to be exactly as complicated as the abandoned Niagara project. Special Guests: David Allen, Maggie Allen, Max Baskin, and Thomas Sixten.

We review their episode "Hudden and Dudden and Donald O'Neary", Episode: 22.
So, this is kind of as a joke. Anansi Storytime is the other series done by Legendsmith Productions. We thought it would be fun to do a review as if we hadn't heard it before. As it turns out, somehow, most of the people reviewing the episode didn't act in it. So it's bit more honest than we expected. Enjoy!
This episode is a rather silly tale of 3 farmers that get into a nasty trickster war.
