Meet the Jens and learn the “WHY” behind a podcast on Advancing Resiliency in Education. The overall mission of the Project Cal-Well AWARE grant which is funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), is to promote mental health awareness and wellness among California’s kindergarten through twelfth grade students, their families and educational staff. The California Department of Education (CDE), works in partnership with local education agencies (LEA’s), including Stanislaus County Office of Education Prevention Programs as a recipient of the Project Cal-Well grant, which is committed to supporting the community of Stanislaus through collaboration with local districts in the support of schools as centers for well-being.
