A custodian at Middletown High School in Middletown, New York, arrived to work just after 6 am on January 16th, 1986 only to find someone slumped over by one of the school's side-entrance doors; he immediately phoned local law enforcement. When police arrived, they discovered that the "someone" was only a child-- a child who had been violently and senselessly attacked. After his identity was discovered and an autopsy was performed, a full-scale investigation began. Despite strong efforts by law enforcement, nearly 37 years later we are still wondering how he got to the school, why he wasn't dressed for the weather, and (most importantly) who could have taken his life. This is the case of Shawn Edwards.

Zander Lyda died in a heart-wrenching tragedy. His life was suddenly taken, leaving his family devastated. Zander was 9 years old and lost his life when his sister stabbed him to death in their Oklahoma home. This is an ongoing case; we will have updates as it unfolds.

When Prisma Peralta Reyes left for her lunchbreak on April 17th, 2019, she drove to meet up with an ex-boyfriend. However, the day (already bad due to an argument with a coworker) got even worse when another argument ensued with her ex. Lauren Dumolo was on a path to gain back custody of her daughter. By all accounts, 41-year-old Dottie Caylor suffered from a near debilitating phobia of public places and spent most all of her time at home.
