In our very first episode of Strive, Thrive and Be Alive, I am joined by an inspirational leader, parent and thought leader - Holly Bruce.

Listen to hear about what impacts this decision has had on her in this very turbulent year for our planet.
You will hear Holly and I mention her track-list, the 10 songs that give us an insight into Holly's life, and an excuse for a good old dance!! - here it is;
Kirsty McColl - free world
Green Day - time of your life
Aim - sail (ft Kate Rodgers)
Calvin Harris - ready for the weekend
Rihanna - we found love
Morcheeba - world looking in

The book that Holly encourages everyone to read would be the wonderful Brene Brown - Braving the Wilderness; Holly says this book came to her when she needed it most, it helped her to harness her courage whilst helping her to realise that everyone is on their own journey and you don’t need to dig far too find connection. Learning to understand others and finding ways to connect with them on a deeper level (or not) has helped Holly to focus within and helped her to find self love.
Holly's favourite quote from the book is:
“The wilderness is an untamed, unpredictable place of solitude and searching. it is a place as dangerous as it is breathtaking. A place as sought after as feared. But it turns out to be the place of true belonging and it’s the bravest and most sacred place you will ever stand”
We hope you enjoy listening as much as we did creating
With love and gratitude always
