Zach Miller is a long term friend of mine who was with us when we made the decision to start this podcast 5 years ago. Listen in as he talks about how he went from the wild kid trying to chase the suburbia status quo, to dropping out of college, to finding purpose in boxing, and landing a well established career. Zach is man willing to swallow his pride for the good of his family and friends, but who also stands strong for what he believes in. He is very introspective of himself which has always allowed him to understand others, and provide great advise. I hope you all enjoy!

Be A Slowpoke: Victor Galaviz

How does one become a coffee roaster/production manager for one of the most prominent coffee shops in Houston? Well first you might have to spend a year at A&M, then maybe a few more years working 12 hour days in oil refineries, maybe you have to go through a "Kanye" phase, and work for free to perfect your craft. Victor Galaviz knows plenty about doing all these things I mean hell its his story. From working in the kitchen at Slowpokes to working for free making coffee at the Tipping Point Victor has pretty much done and seen it all, and the more you think about it all that he went through pushed him into his destiny. He may not be where he fully wants to be, but I think he has mastered the idea that slow is smooth and smooth is fast, so the next time you feel like life isn't moving fast enough just remember sometimes it pays off to Be A Slowpoke!
