She talks about the importance of finding an activity that speaks to you in a way that creates and evokes emotion. When exercise goes beyond something to be checked off the to-do list each day it carries deeper meaning and it also is easier to re-engage if life has created challenge or barriers to one’s habit of movement. 26. Confessions of PTSD: What is it and What I know
After a several month pause Kristina comes back with a
new approach to Season 3 and extends courage as she opens up about her
experience with PTSD, what has been going on over the last few years, and how
it is impacting her. Within this episode she shares information and resources on
what PTSD, they symptoms of it, and treatment options. Though not a licensed
therapist, Kristina shares her experience and furthermore her extensive studies
on this subject in hopes to help others who may be suffering in silence or help
someone better understand a loved one’s experience. Ultimately someone enduring
the whirlwind of PTSD needs to feel safe and we can do that as a community when
we embrace this with an open mind as well as contribute to a space of emotional
safety.

25. The Overview of the Five Steps to Trigger work
As we set out on the season to be FREE, we start with the
overview of the 5 Steps to Trigger Work. This week Kristina gives a high level
of these steps as outlined in the book, “From Triggered to Tranquil” by Susan
Campbell, PhD. This is the framework that will be used to continue through this
journey of healing and better self-understanding. Naturally these steps are
interdependent, so working on one area will naturally bring gains to all areas
and it also enhances a deeper and more intimate relationship with oneself. It
is official … we are on the journey of self-discovery, self-love, and healing
through understanding our own trigger responses.

24. Triggers: What Are They and Why Should We Know

Journey: Learning to Love, Live, and Grow! It has been a hot minute since there

22. Mindset vs. Perspective: Mindset is Health and Wellness
This week Kristina is bringing back mindset work and provides definition to both mindset and perspective. This is an imperative concept when it comes to health and wellness as she feels that mindset work is health in and of itself.
