Calling all Creativity/Innovation Professionals, Coaches, Facilitators and Creative Business People. Do you work in a creative environment? Do you help people with creative ideas? Do you help people access their creativity? Are you a creativity coach? In honour of World Creativity and Innovation Week April 15-21, now celebrated in 106 communities and 43 countries, Creativityland Inc. CEO and WCIW co-founder Marci Segal co-hosts two episodes. We invite you to share your specific solutions, experience and opinions for any of the following: 1. What is a creative environment? How do you define it? What do you need to be at your creative best? How do you/can we develop a creative environment to promote day-to-day creative-thinking and solutions at home, school and in business? (You can refer to physical space, attitudes, systems, beliefs, etc.) 2. What are the common obstacles and fears people commonly face when called to use their creativity? What solutions do you have? 3. What strategies are available for people to access their creativity? 4. In what ways are you creative? In what ways do you contribute to the creative process/outcomes for others? Each caller has 3-4 minutes to offer specific, useful details to our listeners; or, Send your responses in advance. Barbara is an author, former journalist, academic and editor, who for more than twenty years has taught FreefallWriting® Workshops privately and through universities in Canada, the US, Europe, and Australia.  Her novel No News But Kindness was a finalist for the Chapters/Robertson Davies manuscript prize.  She has published 2 books, Skelton at Sixty (The Porcupine’s Quill) and Freefall: Writing Without a Parachute (The Writing Space), and numerous feature articles in The Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail, Quill & Quire and other publications.  She has taught at the University of Cambridge, Toronto, Jos, Washington and Western Australia, and worked as freelance editor for Oxford University Press, University of Ottawa Press, Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, and Holt Rinehart and Winston, and has a Ph.D. in modern literature from the University of Cambridge.  She is the 2010 winner of England’s Short Story Radio First Chapter Competitionz:  http://www.freefallwriting.com.
