39m · Too Posh Podcast · 01 Nov 22:33

We ask Linda how it feels to watch artists that she has helped become super famous and then some of them suffer severe struggles because of fame like Demi Lovato.
Linda usually tours with the artists for a while. She says it is very difficult to be on that other side of the journey to fame. She loves taking the artists through the journey before the fame.
They are hungry and cannot wait to get there - that part is a lot of fun. Sadly once the fame starts it is not that much fun any longer. The journey is truly the best.

Linda tells us of people pawing at Jessica Simpson and trying to grab her breasts on a plane - the world feels like they own the right to do whatever they want because they feel like
they know you.

The people that become ultra famous like Demi Lovato, Beyonce and Britney Spears - and Jessica Simpson - they start shutting down - You see them scamper to get away from people -
they will autograph for a little while but especially the females get very afraid.
It is sad to see.
She tells them that they wanted this fame and once achieved they are no longer off limits. It becomes a different world and they have to try to accept it and get their psyche ready.

She talks about Demi Lovato cutting quite a bit in 7th and 8th grade that they had to take her out of school - people were so very jealous of her even at that young age. Linda believes
that jealousy is a mental health issue.
We talk about the part in the Justin Bieber movie when he gets so sick before performing in Madison Square Garden, but the money people forcing him to perform with high doses of medication.
Linda explains that there are 20.000 people that want to say they met Justin Bieber but there is only one Justin. It is so tough.

Linda talks about athletes getting numbed on the sidelines like animals.

It is so hard to find true performers - Linda says she can make anyone a singer.

At Septien Entertainment Group they don't just do lessons, they also put a lot of focus on Artist Development.

Linda is super passionate about the Metaverse and Web 3 and thinks it is the most exciting thing that has ever happened for artists.
Travis Scott held a concert in the Metaverse and 50 Million People attended that concert virtually when at the most there are 40.000 at a real concert.
Linda has studied all this for 3 years and teaches about artists using tokenomics and offering coins.
She says you no longer need label contracts - only smart contracts where everything is transparent. Nothing is hidden any longer.

Linda makes a prediction that by 2023 everyone will be on it. She suggests everyone get into it because it is not going away. They teach a class at Septien Entertainment that is
very important for every business owner as well.

Another one of Linda's emerging stars is Jenna Raine who landed in the Number 1 Spot on Spotify with her Single "See You Later" even against Adele. She is signed with Warner
Brothers and is the only wholesome girl next door pop star at the label.

Septien Entertainment group has created a new company called Parallel Play that hired 20 companies and those companies will market you to all 12 platforms and push you out
to the audience. If you do not market yourself you cannot make it today.

Linda gives incredible advice about what it takes to sell music to the audience and what you have to do if you like to make money.

BEST OF TOO POSH "Live with Grace" $10.000 Scholarship to a Booker T Senior in honor of Grace Loncar

When Sue Loncar was in total despair, after the death of her 16 year old daughter and her husband within days of each other she felt hopeless with no idea
what to do next.
Her best friend of many years Libby, told her she was going to run the "Grace Loncar Foundation", which she started immediately, filed all the paperwork
and they had their first meeting 2 weeks after Grace was gone.
www.graceloncarfoundation.com
A big reason for the foundation is to end the stigma because people do not want to talk about it. Suicide has increased by 70% in the last 10 years and is the
number 2 death for ages 10 - 34.
We learn about an incredible program called "Hope Squad" that was created by someone from Utah and they are trying to get it into all schools.
Shockingly they are getting a lot of resistance because schools are afraid it will give students ideas. The foundation is even offering to pay for the counselors
and the training.
Sue and her oldest daughter Sally speak at many events.
They also provide care cards that have all the suicide warning signs on them.
The reach of the foundation is all over the country.
Sue believes that it is mostly impulse control with teenagers, and she believes that even though Grace was depressed her suicide was out of impulse because she
was mad. Their frontal lobe is not all the way developed yet.

Sue made the difficult decision to have an open casket at Grace's funeral, because she wanted the reality to sink in with Grace's friends that this is what suicide looks
like. Not all family members were in agreement with this decision but Sue thought it would be important and her passion is to try to save lives.
Sue talks passionately about mental health.

She tells us that they call people "Suicide Survivors" because it is a double whammy to overcome - because not only do you lose your loved one, but then people
blame you. The surviving person gets looked at like it is their fault.
Sue says that sometimes it is better to call a friend than calling a hotline, but of course to call someone is the most important.
Younger people don't feel they can trust their friends because they get let down so often.

Sue wishes that she could snap out of her deep grief, because she doesn't want it to define her, but she doesn't know how to.
She tells us that they try to celebrate Grace's life and focus on all that was amazing about her and not how she died.
She would give everything for just one more day!

BEST OF TOO POSH "The Day Your Heart Stopped Is The Day My Heart Broke" ..... 1 Breath At A Time - Sue Loncar

Part 3 of Miss Sue Loncar's brave testimony about her daughter's suicide and her husbands overdose deaths takes us through "the day of the worst day of her life".
Sue believes that Grace had no intentions to kill herself that night because she had gone to the mall, bought candles and planned to go to a party the next day.
She thought that she had actually been doing a lot better than before.
Sue says that Teenagers confide in their friends that they want to commit suicide, but usually not to anyone else.
Sue was always the disciplinarian but the night of Grace's death both her and Brian took Grace's phone because she had gotten in trouble. It was not a harsh punishment and
she was supposed to get her phone back the next morning.
Sue stayed with Grace until 4 am to talk everything through and to make sure she was ok.
When she woke up at 11 am and went to Grace's room she found her dead on the floor with a gunshot wound to her head.
Sue's first reaction was to sit her up and will her back to life.
Bravely Sue talks about all the next horrible moments. She was in shock and laid with her dead daughter until the police made her leave.
2 days after Grace's funeral on the next Sunday she was waiting on Brian to meet her in church but he didn't show up, because he had overdosed and by the
time Sue got to the hospital her husband was dead.
In complete shock she could not even comprehend what was happening.
She has been robbed from being able to share memories of her daughter with him who loved her as much as she did. She has to walk this painful road all alone.
She says she knows what it feels like to want to die. Her saving Grace have been God and her other children because she does not want to harm them anymore.
Sue says she is a changed person - everything is tinged with terrible sadness.
She had to learn to make it one breath at a time, 30 minutes at a time, 1 hour at a time ..................

#302: JUSTIN JOHNSON / ALYSSA EDWARDS "RAW AND REAL - Dance Will Forever Be A Part Of Me" Part 3

This episode gets even more raw and real ...........

We talk a lot about Dancing Queen the Netflix Series behind the scenes - The Moms that were always ready to challenge the teachers and especially Marcella.
Justin talks about young Moms being stage parents and that they are great for TV. He talks about Riley's Mom being outraged about Marcella being too sexy and wearing thigh high boots -
which in turn Justin shows that Mom a photo of himself in thigh high boots and asks her Why are you not outraged about me?

We talk about Justin being the special guest performer in the World Pride Parade and 6 year old Ainsley dancing with him. He says that reality TV always has something dangling over you.

Then Justin talks about his dancer Leah from Beyond Belief Dance Company, who also starred in Dancing Queen being truly one of his Heroes.
She has beat all the odds - being a child with spina bifida who was told she probably wouldn't walk and here she is not only walking but singing and dancing in the new pop group XOMG.
The group was created by JoJo Siwa.
Leah has had over 35 day surgeries and 40 overnight surgeries. She has said to the doctors that "DANCE GIVES HER A REASON TO LIVE".

The people at the studio are his tribe and they have become family because they have believed in him. Justin says that it is okay to tell your tribe some hard truths sometimes. We agree that it is
easier for men studio owners to put dance parents in their place.
He says that he has had to apply tough love and eliminate people - several of the families that were a part of Dancing Queen. They weren't a great fit in the end and he knows they will find a
better place for them where they fit and they will be more celebrated.

Reality TV creates stars - Kardashians are like the Royal Family of America off Reality Television and a sex tape.

We ask Justin who is a worldwide global superstar how he stays committed to this small dance studio in Mesquite TX.

Then Justin opens up about his new relationship with Steve. He gets very candid and tells us how they fell in love. He says he held a global Tinder audition for Steve and that he found THE ONE.
We learn about their first date and the NY Times "ARE YOU COMPATIBLE" 50 questions.

We truly look at Justin as our family and we agree that we are supposed to meet people for a reason.

Justin felt like he truly did it after he finished his 53 cities tour with this LIFE, LOVE AND LASHES Solo Show. He brought Hollywood to Mesquite. We talk about the incredible opening night of the show
in Dallas TX, that we were blessed to be at and the incredible Broadway Review he received.

Then he shares the story about his father on season 5 of the Ru Paul Drag Race and how incredibly emotional that moment was. It was so impactful and finding that peace and serenity and fast forwarding
to now he truly has the happily ever after!!

At the end of the show we create a Matchmaking reality TV Show for Marcella and Justin being the Matchmaker.

Justin's book of life has been written and is just now being read out loud. What a true Hero he is.

#301: Justin Johnson / Alyssa Edwards "RAW AND REAL - Lead With Love" Part 2

He tells us about being the Vanessa Williams of Drag - winning Miss America and getting dethroned - this caused him to log off the internet and trying to make the best of it. Then Shangela got on Ru Paul's Drag Race
and told Justin that he has to go on that show, but he didn't think he could do it.
Justin has so much respect for Ru Paul and calls him the pioneer that opened all these opportunities worldwide.
Justin was worried that his dance kids and parents would think of him weirdly if he went on the show.

When the producer called to audition Justin - he was shocked and told them they can google him and they surely googled "AMERICA's QUEEN". They kept bringing up that he was dethroned and if
he knows Coco Montrese the person that took over the crown. He said he never heard of him :). Ultimately they were both cast on Ru Paul's Drag Race Season 5 and the rest is history.

Randy with World Of Wonder decided to create a spinoff YouTube Series Alyssa's Secret which was their very first World Of Wonder Streaming Show.
Fun Fact - they are rebooting Alyssa's Secret - but that is ultimately where the Netflix Series Dancing Queen got started.

Justin talks about his Beyond Belief Dance Studio and that there are so many life lessons you can take from dance.
He is training the youth of today - they are going to be the future of tomorrow. Those are going to be the leaders - he wants help to develop their character and instill a set of values and a code of conduct.

that he feels at peace with it and she will live on inside of him forever.
