She is passionate about empowering people with chronic pain to step into their source power to heal themselves. Winnie’s clients often have anxiety and depression. They often feel stuck in their physical or emotional pain. She believes the key to healing is to stand powerfully in our authenticity. When we do the shadow work to integrate our darkness with our light, we turn our wounds into power. We shift from being a victim to being the author of our lives.
In her book “Honoring Darkness” that she co-authored with Ji W. Choi, doctoral candidate in psychology, they searched deep into their traumas and made lemonade out of the lemons. As they navigated the darkness of grief, anger, suppression, fear, unworthiness, defensiveness, lack mentality, taking everyone for granted, manipulation and shame, they gained trust and purpose.
