Welcome to 60 Questions. In this episode of 60 Questions, we are joined byDr. DeepteeJain! Deeptee Jain, MD, is a Board Certified and Fellowship Trained Orthopedic Spine Surgeon at The Center for Bone and Joint Surgery of the Palm Beaches. Prior to joining the Center for Bone and Joint Surgery, Dr. Jain was an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis.

Her practice focuses on the evaluation and treatment of degenerative spine conditions, including lumbar and cervical disc herniations, degenerative disc disease, spondylolisthesis, and spinal stenosis. Dr. Jain also specializes in minimally invasive (MIS) spinal procedures and uses traditional approaches when necessary. Dr. Jain attended Duke University School of Medicine and then completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where she was awarded Chief Orthopedic Surgery Resident. She went on to receive subspecialized fellowship training in orthopedic spine surgery at New York University Hospital for Joint Disease, where she focused on minimally invasive techniques.

Dr. Jain is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and a member of the North American Spine Society (where she is also an Advocacy Council Member), the Lumbar Spine Research Society, and the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery. She is also a reviewer for the Journal of Bone & Joint Surgery and a contributor to Forbes.

60 Questions with Dr. Tosca Kinchelow, MD

Welcome to 60 Questions. In this series, we will be interviewing different medical specialists to give our audience a better idea of what it is like to specialize in a certain field within the workers' compensation industry. In this episode of 60 Questions, we are joined by Dr. Tosca Kinchelow! Dr. Kinchelow earned her undergraduate degree at Duke University and her doctor of medicine degree at Michigan State College of Human Medicine, where she was awarded a research fellowship. After receiving her doctor of medicine degree, she returned to her home state of New Jersey and completed her residency in orthopaedic surgery, a year of orthopaedic research, and a fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Kinchelow has been in private practice in South Florida since 2007.

Dr. Kinchelow’s goal is to not only properly diagnose and treat your orthopedic condition but, with an energetic, straightforward, and collaborative approach, also empower and guide you to participate in your healing, restoration, and recovery.

60 Questions with Dr. Eric J. Balaguer, MD

Welcome to 60 Questions. In this series, we will be interviewing different medical specialists to give our audience a better idea of what it is like to specialize in a certain field within the workers' compensation industry. In this episode of 60 Questions, we are joined by Eric J. Balaguer, MD who is a board-certified⁠ ⁠hand and upper extremity surgeon specializing in conditions of the hand, wrist, and elbow as well as microvascular surgery and nerve repairs.His undergraduate education took place at The Ohio State University majoring in biological sciences. He then returned to his native Puerto Rico to attend medical school.

Upon graduation, he obtained an NIH grant and spent 2 years at the Orthopedic Research Laboratory of Columbia University Department of Orthopedic Surgery. He completed his formal training at The University of Miami with a hand and upper extremity surgery fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital / University of Miami Department of Orthopedic Surgery.

Dr. Balaguer is an avid athlete and has been part of the medical team of different sports teams at the high school, college and professional level. He also remains very active in several sports. Dr. Balaguer is a two times cancer survivor and is very passionate about his charity work with cancer patients. He is involved in many charities including the ⁠Leukemia Lymphoma Society⁠.
