EP 37: Interview With Sarah Maurer

I'm so excited to share my interview with Sarah Mauer.  Sarah is a magical human that I've been so honored to work with in my capacity as a coach and also to call her a friend.

Sarah bravely stepped into creating a future for her birth of her second child that felt more empowered and centered on how she wanted to feel. For so many of us the experience of childbirth is something that we are asked to just grit our teeth and bear. We are told, it's gonna feel like a train ran over you, so you should just get ready. But does it really need to be that way? Is there a more empowering way we can approach this experience? What holds us back from this?

After a challenging birth from her first child, Sarah was committed to creating a different experience for the birth of her second. But to do this, she knew she needed to look at her past, process the trauma, and set intentions for a new experience.

I was honored to support Sarah in this journey, supporting her to really step into her power and a woman, uncover her voice, and create the reality she craved.

Can you relate to this? Maybe your experience is not childbirth...but where do you need to step into your own power?

As always, thank you all so much for listening.

EP 36: Creative Destruction

Hello my friends!

In today's episode of the Wild Women Wild Soul Podcast, I dive into the idea of creative destruction.

You might have heard this term from me before as it relates to the overall flow of the seasons - Gestation (winter), Birth (spring), maturity (summer), Creative destruction (fall) .

I find comfort and meaning when I connect to the cycle of nature and the season and creative destruction is one of my favorite subjects, probably because we are often so uncomfortable with the ideas of death, loss, destruction in a society that loves the energies of spring and summer.

Here we're thinking about creative destruction has the annual course of nature as we move through the Autumn season.

It happens all around us & is a remarkable transition to experience and embody. The leaves change, they fall, our environment begins to destroy all that it grew through the spring and summer.

But WHY? What is the reason behind this destruction? In ridding itself of the old, there is so much more room for the new. In nature it just happens. For us in life there is so much attachment to the old, the fruits we have grown, we often find this process uncomfortable.

How are you allowing creative destruction to create a clearing for new growth to begin?
