Buckle up because this week's episode is a little sassy.
When your personal mantra is "let it go" (so much so that it's tattooed on your wrist) and it's been 10 years since the movie Frozenwas released, you make a list of all the beliefs you had to let go of to get yourself on the road to who you're meant to be.
Since this is a podcast all about letting go of the opinions of others, perfectionism and timelines to live the life you've dreamed of, naturally, this list includes a lot about letting go of those things.

Send us a Text Message.

In this episode of "Love, Laugh, Let It Go," Lindsey is joined by Kristi Rowles. Kristi is a mental health therapist turned multi-passionate entrepreneur. She is the founder of Enneagram University and the owner of roziejune, an accessory company committed to empowerment, joy, mental health, inclusivity, and all things love.

Kristi, an Enneagram 6w7, shares her journey from the sunny state of Florida to the beachside views of Ecuador. We delve into her passion for the Enneagram and how it led her to create Enneagram University, a program dedicated to certifying competent Enneagram coaches and teaching them how to integrate this powerful tool into their coaching practices.

We also explore Kristi's bold and fun accessory brand, roziejune, which combines fashion with advocacy. With roziejune, advocacy has never been cuter.

Living abroad in Ecuador has brought Kristi many adventures, from trying out weird ice cream toppings to navigating life in a country where she doesn't speak the language fluently. Kristi’s stories about waxing, friendship, and daily life in Ecuador are both hilarious and heartwarming.

Lindsey and Kristi's friendship began through social media, leading Lindsey to become a certified Enneagram coach through Kristi's program and even model for roziejune. Their conversation is filled with laughter, learning, and inspiration.

Owning Your Beginner Status

Send us a Text Message.

In this episode, I dive into my experience attending a women's entrepreneurial group event where I knew absolutely no one. Despite initial nerves, I quickly made friends and felt an overwhelming sense of support from the incredible women there. These women fiercely supported one another and genuinely wanted to see others win.

We participated in a powerful exercise designed to remind us that we're never truly alone, even when it feels like we are. This activity highlighted the importance of community and connection. Additionally, we had an insightful chat about the power of positive and negative thoughts and how they can shape our journeys.

Key Takeaways:

  1. Find Your People: Seek out communities that resonate with you and your goals.
  2. Surround Yourself with Role Models: Connect with individuals who have achieved what you aspire to accomplish.
  3. Embrace Being a Beginner: It's perfectly okay to be a beginner (read or hear that without feeling instant anxiety.) Remember, everyone starts somewhere.

Tune in to hear more about my experiences and the valuable lessons I learned. Let's celebrate the journey of being a beginner and the growth that comes with it!

Send us a Text Message.

In this episode, we dive into a powerful rule to live by: "If someone hasn't told you there's a problem, there's no problem." We explore how adopting this mindset can significantly reduce stress and anxiety, improve your sleep, and help you stop overthinking.

Key Points Discussed:

  1. The Rule Explained:
    • Understanding that if an issue hasn’t been communicated to you, it's not your problem to worry about.
    • Realizing that if someone has a problem and hasn’t shared it with you, it remains their issue, not yours.
  2. The Power of Asking:
    • Discussing the importance of directly asking if someone is upset with you.
    • Learning to accept and believe the answer when they say no.
  3. Perspective on Personal Concerns:
    • Recognizing that people are often preoccupied with their own lives.
    • Understanding that most people don’t spend much time being upset or mad at others.

Why You Should Listen:
By embracing these principles, you can free yourself from unnecessary worry and anxiety. This episode provides practical advice on how to manage your thoughts, communicate effectively, and maintain healthy relationships.
