111: Running for weight loss

Want to lose weight with the help of running?

There are a lot of people who want to lose weight and therefore start running, or if they are already running, that is, they are runners, they start running more, but it is not always beneficial for them.

Exercise and more physical activity definitely helps create a calorie deficit.

But exercise, and specifically cardio exercise does NOT lead to the fat loss we would expect and predict.

Think of people who are very physically active, maybe even ultrarunners, and still have a lot of extra pounds, especially around the waist.

In today's episode, I want to shed some light on this phenomenon of why maybe you exercise a lot, eat a little, yet still can't seem to lose weight.
