Nika Kabiri has spent over two decades studying how people make decisions in various contexts, from business to politics to relationships. She teaches decision science at the University of Washington and works as a consultant helping businesses understand consumer decision-making. She’s co-author of the bestselling book Money Off the Table: Decision Science and the Secret to Smarter Investing. She has also been featured in Business Insider, Yahoo News, Fast Company, and more, and has been a contributor to The Hill, Inside Sources, The Huffington Post, and others. Nika has a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Washington, where her academic focus was on choice theory and decision-making within constraints. Tate completed a Master of Science in Finance from Florida International University with honors. Tate earned his undergraduate degrees from UNC Chapel Hill in International Studies and Philology (Spanish). He was also a graduate of the Carolina Business Institute of the Kenan Flagler Business School and became fluent in Spanish after completing the Advanced Program in Language and Culture in Sevilla, Spain with UNC. He was a member of Sigma Delta Pi - the National Spanish Honors Society. Within the multidisciplinary Global Studies program his focus was on Political Economy and Spain & the Spanish Speaking World. Tate has also completed significant coursework in International Economics from Florida Atlantic University.

Within his finance career he not only has legal and regulatory expertise, but also has a great deal of success in an advisory capacity (Mergers and Acquisitions and Consultations directly to Board Members about recommended large scale strategic decisions). His experience with fundamental and variance analysis gives him an expertise in knowing what story is being told and the underlying current a business is facing by looking at their financials & data. Tate has all of the needed core technical and business skills needed for high level securities & corporate advisory, but he also realizes that businesses are human driven organizations.

Nathan Lewis has written four books on economic topics, and has been featured in television documentaries in the U.S., South Korea, China, Russia, and Britain. He has spoken at events hosted by the Cato Institute, Heritage Foundation, the American Principles Project, and others. He has testified in Congress on economic issues. His writing has appeared in many media outlets, including Forbes, the Financial TimesHuffington PostNikkei BusinessDaily ReckoningWorth, and other publications. Today, he serves as a Fellow of the Wealth and Poverty program at the Discovery Institute.

He has fifteen years of experience in the asset-management industry. He formerly served as a macro analyst for institutional investors, and later helped manage money for hedge funds. Today, he is the editor of the Polaris Letter, an investment newsletter for individuals.

TECHNOLOGISTS | Tamara Mustafaeva

Tamara is a technologist who emigrated from Azerbaijan and has forged a successful career as a technologist in the United States. As a project manager for several well-known media companies, she manages teams to overdeliver. Tamara is currently working on a book to describe her journey to success and inspire others to do the same.

ATHLETES | Matteo Tagliariol

Matteo Tagliariol is the 2008 Olympic champion in épée fencing. Outside of being an athlete, he is a father and man of many interests including business.

He likes to create digital content and organize fencing camps at an international level where he teaches students to better manage competitive situations. Matteo also speaks for companies on motivational topics based on his experience gained at the highest level of competitive fencing.
