#OneHourOfSunshine Episode 10, was with our guest Phil Strong, Founder of Zymbit, a security technology business based in Santa Barbara, California.
In every show, we have an intuition of the day and a call to action. May they serve you and your teams!
Intuition of the Day: “How long does it take you to process joy versus trauma and why? Is it gender related? Upbringing related? There’s no right or wrong here obviously.
This ability to process joy vs. trauma can easily translates into a business setting, for example, the executive who is always ready and expecting the next battle, instead of celebrating the win on the table right in front of them.
So ask yourself, do I expect ease and JOY or do I assume that I must arm myself for the next fight or traumatic event?” ~ Megan Joy Havrda, host
Call to Action for the Audience: “In schools, still today, we are taught to discount our intuition...we are told that if we process in a certain way that then we will be set for life. I say, if we can get back to following our heart and using your head to get there we will be better off...don’t be afraid {to create your own destiny}.” ~ Phil Strong, guest
