Episode 4.5: How Are You?

We here at MMMB have worked in various fields and communities, under the hood on mental health. We have both experienced issues with our own mental health, and we have both spent time helping others strengthen theirs. Through our work and experience, we realize and acknowledge that racism cannot be tolerated. We condemn police brutality, and we condemn its violence against people of color. We don’t condone hate or violence, but we understand that violence is sometimes the language of the unheard. We do condone love and education, always. In the words of John Gottman, who states on his study into the “magic” of love: “…our hypothesis was that you need three things. Physiological calm, and trust, and commitment.’ We need to apply these things to our global community hurt by COVID 19, and we especially need to apply them to the communities being disenfranchised and victimized in America. We hope everyone has remained safe and healthy during these crises, and our wish is for you all to stay safe and healthy going forward. We are doing our part to apply these principles, while being open to being further educated about how we can be better people, always. In the spirit of continuing to offer help and guidance to those struggling with mental health challenges, especially during this time, we have decided to move forward with releasing MMMB content. We have been editing material recorded at the start of the pandemic, only now starting to resume our efforts. With that, we bring you a new episode where Bolan and Mike interview Victoria Lace Veltre. We discuss the prevalence of performing, and the psychological impacts that it has had on our lives. Plus, we answer the age old question: “Does Scotty know where Fiona goes EVERY Sunday?” You don’t want to miss another incredible story, from an incredible guest. She has some real wisdom to share. We hope to see you in the office!

Ep. 4: Spiders

In this episode, the boys talk about alarms in the morning. Do you set one? How many do you set? Is it healthy? Taking a deeper look into self-mutilation and where to find help. And Mike loses his Dr. Pepper. Get a good belly laugh on when you stop by the office this week.

Episode 3 1/2 : Pitchforks Inc. *Mini series

This episode they take some time to discuss healthy things to do with your new-found free time, and about possible employment by Satan himself? Enjoy this new mini-series we will be doing to help spread some extra joy and mental health exercises that will have your mental health looking like Brad Pitt.
