I'm LIVE with voice coach and former TV and radio personality, Susan Murphy.

Susan's spent the majority of her 40-year career on-air. Starting as a shadow traffic reporter and programme director in Philadelphia she then moved to New York and became a radio personality before hosting and producing PBS television fundraising drives, crossing paths with our very own Charlotte Church.

She once even rode an elephant through New York. She's been a voice-over artist for commercials, TV, websites and E-learning but her heart has always been in teaching and so having set up her company VOSOT (Voice Over Sound on Tape) she now 'polishes the on-air sound of anchors and reporters.'

My guest is speaker, coach, and founder of MasterTalk, Brenden Kumarasamy.

Canadian, Brenden has been coaching since he was 19! Now 27, he’s an experienced and expert communication coach. He started by coaching his fellow business students and learnt his craft by teaching others.

His YouTube channel has nearly 29K subscribers and is jam-packed with valuable free resources on how to communicate confidently and effectively. He says, 'A wise friend once told me that I couldn’t possibly coach every human being on Earth with the limited time I had in my life, so I needed to go on video to share my message with the world. I got over my fear, and practised 100’s of times on camera until I was finally able to say that I was “YouTube Ready”. His is a story of trial and error, hard work and help from supportive family and mentors.

As well as his own inspiring story we discuss imposter syndrome, what an expert is, and how to manage your fear when sharing your message.
