Communication in recruitment: why messaging is so important

18m · Published 25 Feb 11:45

This month we were lucky enough to have a virtual cup of coffee* with Henna Pryor from Pryority Group. Henna is a successful Executive Coach in the US with a decade and a half’s experience in recruitment, who speaks passionately about sales messaging. She’s recently developed a training course that helps recruiting professionals improve how they do outreach to candidates. In this episode I wanted to focus on how we speak with candidates, and how, by changing the way we approach people, and communicate our messages and employer brand, we can successfully recruit the right people.

You can find Henna on LinkedIn if you'd like to find out more, and follow CA3 here if you haven't already!

*Henna's in the US so it was early and a strong coffee rather than tea was needed...

Has the recruitment industry really changed at all?

18m · Published 28 Sep 12:29

In this episode we wanted to explore the recruitment industry as a whole. Has it really changed at all in the last 20 years? Or are the same old issues there bubbling below the surface? What have we actually learnt over the last 20 years? It’s a broad topic, but in order to plan a recruitment strategy coming out of the pandemic, we need to understand and learn from the past.

This month we are lucky to have Simon Drake with us, who has over 25 years of experience leading businesses and operations in recruitment, HR services and consulting. He’s a business advisor, guru and mentor to the consulting and recruitment sectors. During this podcast we at CA3 get his unique perspective on how our industry has changed.

This month we are lucky to have Simon Crowe with us, who is a Brand Consultant at Crunch Simply Digital. We chat about everything from hyperlocal and programmatic to TikTok, and everything in between. In this episode, watch out for a great case study on Expedia in Japan, and the usual stumbling over words from our host, Sarah Wardle.
