Israel shares behind-the-scenes stories about the film, including how he got the role, the true story it’s based on, and what it was like to shoot the movie in Paris Hilton’s real house. Israel also discusses his co-stars, including Emma Watson and Leslie Mann. Plus, Israel tells Brett all about growing up in Mississippi and the first movie roles he booked after moving to LA, including “Flipped”, directed by Rob Reiner, and “The Chaperone”, directed by Stephen Herek. Today’s guest Ariel Vromen (The Iceman) joins Brett to discuss his directing career. His latest movie “The Iceman”, starring Michael Shannon, Chris Evans, James Franco, Ray Liotta, & Winona Ryder, hits theaters May 3rd. Ariel shares behind-the-scenes stories about the film, from getting the rights to the true story of contract killer Richard Kuklinski to finding the financing to casting each of the roles. Ariel tells Brett all about how he first got into filmmaking after growing up in Tel Aviv, Israel and spending four years in the Israeli Air Force. He also discusses his early work, including the short film “Jewel of the Sahara” starring Gerard Butler and his first feature “R/X” starring Eric Balfour and Colin Hanks. Today’s guest John Asher (Weird Science, Diamonds, Somebody Marry Me) joins Brett in the studio to discuss his career as both an actor and a director. Brett attended the first screening of John’s new movie “Somebody Marry Me” last week and he was excited to talk to him about it because the entire 98-minute film was shot in ONE TAKE. No edits, no cuts, no camera tricks. John also shares stories from his childhood, growing up with his father William Asher, a television legend, who directed over 100 episodes of “I Love Lucy”, created and directed “Bewitched”, and also worked on other classic shows like “Gidget”, “Patty Duke”, “Marcus Welby M.D.”, “Alice”, and “The Dukes of Hazzard”. John discusses his own acting career, which included a starring role on the TV series “Weird Science”, and his own directing career, which included “Diamonds” starring Kirk Douglas, Lauren Bacall, Dan Aykroyd, and Jenny McCarthy. He also talks about his movie “Dirty Love”, which he directed and Jenny McCarthy wrote, and how he and Jenny got married and had their son, Evan.

Brett’s second guest Mikey Roe joins him in the studio to talk about his new show on the Travel Channel, “Feed the Beast”, which premiered last week. He shares behind-the-scenes stories about traveling the country to different cities and finding the best late-night eats. Johnny talks all about his new play “A Family Thing”, which was written by Gary Lennonand can currently be seen at Stage 52 in Los Angeles through March 17th. Johnny also shares behind-the-scenes stories about working on “Friends”, opposite Jennifer Aniston, and his very first movies “The Sweetest Thing”with Cameron Diaz and “Tears of the Sun” with Bruce Willis. He also discusses his films “Anacondas” and “Running Scared” with Paul Walker, his role on “The O.C.”, his own FOX series “Killer Instinct”, and his arc on the hit CBS show “Cold Case”, which is how he & Kathryn met.

For the final hour of the episode, Brett and Johnny are joined by Mario Mendias, the creator and founder of My Fit Foods (“Eat Fit, Live Fit”). Brett and Johnny have both been on the meal plan program for the last two months and highly recommend it. They talk to Mario about everything you could ever want to know about My Fit Foods, which provides pre-cooked, gluten-free, healthy meals and snacks. Today's first guest Michael B. The film was acquired by Harvey Weinstein for $2 million, which could now put Michael in next year's Oscar race for Best Actor. Michael shares what the experience was like for him on his successful first trip to the Sundance Film Festival. He also discusses growing up in New Jersey, how he first got into acting, and his breakout role as "Wallace" on HBO's "The Wire", which was followed by a three-year stint on "All My Children".
