S3.E2 Handling Negative Self-Talk

22m · Published 11 Jan 10:30
Are you constantly feeling like you are not worthy? Do you beat yourself up and think there is no good in you at all? These are signs of negative self-talk.  Miya Yamanouchi, motivational author and counsellor said, “The way you choose to think and speak about yourself (to yourself and others), IS A CHOICE! You may have spent your whole life talking about yourself in a negative way, but that doesn't mean you have to continue that path.”  Negative self-talk isn’t constructive, and it rarely motivates us to make any changes. We have tons of thoughts running through our minds every moment. The thoughts we choose to allow dominate our minds are what defines how we feel and act. In this episode of the podcast, I will share how to identify negative self-talk; types and habits of negative self-talk; as well as how to overcome and stop negative self-talk.  Sign up for my webinar on Evolve, Own Your Life: Breaking Up With Self Sabotage on Saturday, January 16th at 2:00 pm WAT (GMT +1). S3.E1 NEW BEGINNINGS

25m · Published 04 Jan 10:30

It is a new year and a time to begin afresh! I love this quote by T.S. Eliot “For last year’s words belong to last year’s language, and next year’s words await another voice.”

While resolutions in themselves are not bad, the crux of the matter is that a lot of resolutions made during the euphoria of the celebrations are not kept or fulfilled by many people. Resolutions are made in every area of life ranging from gym membership, health and fitness goals to creating new habits at work, quitting habits etc. In this episode of the podcast, I will share why intentionality and consistency in maintaining goals is much better than making resolutions that you don't keep. Yes, you need to F.O.C.U.S. - Follow One Course Until Success.
