BONUS Episode: Economic Equality with Laura Reinholz, BMO for Women

43m · Published 08 Mar 11:30

Do women need separate financial products designed for them? How will organizations and governments effect real change?  What can women (and men) do right now to further support economic equality?  How will climate change further disrupt gender equality?

International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. While COVID-19 highlighted some of the successful accomplishments of women in leadership, we also saw the deeply rooted societal and cultural expectations of genders play out.

Laura Reinholz is Head of BMO for Women program inside the Commercial Banking and Wealth Management Division and my guest on today's episode.  Our conversation was inspired by a social media post that sparked a common debate about women and money and equality, and what needs to change. This is bonus episode, un-edited and real, between two women who want to see real change happen.

S4 E44: Healing Your Relationship With Money

50m · Published 15 Feb 12:00

Your relationship with money is often driven by your inner belief system that you hold onto throughout your life. Sometimes, you need to release those beliefs to live a life of abundance, and energy work can support that.

We're digging into the depths of our thought patterns today with guest Jeana Locke.  Jeana holds a Ph.D in Applied Behavior Studies in Education and has several certifications in eastern medicine including Emotion Code and Akashic Records. She is a Transformational Life Coach and helps heart-based people evolve personally and professionally by supporting them to recognize the patterns, habits and beliefs that no longer serve them, and supports them to connect with their inner wisdom.

Today we dive into limiting beliefs as it relates to money and discuss:

  • The emotions that may be holding you back from abundance and flow
  • The concept of the money bucket and an exercise to help you measure your own
  • How mindfulness can help us become aware of the decision we make with money.

S3 E38: A Better Way To Give This Holiday Season

21m · Published 23 Nov 12:00

"Socially Responsible Sipping" is a term coined by Erin Malecki, the founder of Sip Well, Do Good.  Inspired by the events of 2020, she wanted to find a way to celebrate socially responsible beverage companies and support charitable organizations with similar missions.

The ripple effect from her business will support local businesses and positively impact non-profits that are struggling to keep their doors open during these difficult times.

Sip Well, Do Good ships the boxes of wine directly to your house.  With each purchase, a portion of your proceeds will be donated to a charity.  It's a perfect way to support local business and charities, while giving to friends and family (or yourself!) this holiday season.

Season 3 of the Collective Wealth podcast is about learning how we can earn, spend, and invest our money and time to have a positive impact on the world around us.

2020 has been a year that will change humanity, and after speaking with people like Erin, I like to think for the better.
