Fearless Pursuits Podcast: Breakthrough To Success

If you're looking to get clients online or get clients for free without posting ads and you want to use social media, you may realize there's a mix of strategy and mindset to actually attracting clients or customers to you. 

The problem is, we tend to get stuck in our heads thinking that what we're doing isn't working. What do you typically do when something seems hard or isn't working?

Well, most people give up. 

Don't do that!

As if running a business isn't hard enough but what most people deal with are visibility blocks or a negative marketing mindset. Want to know what sets the uber-successful apart from the wannabe entrepreneurs?

It’s not money, or brilliant ideas, or even powerful friends.

All of those things (and more) are nice to have, but they’re not a requirement of success. What is a must-have, though, is a good attitude. Without the proper mindset, you’ll constantly be battling your own brain, and that’s exhausting.

· You’ll allow yourself to believe your ideas are no good

· You’ll remain convinced that you aren’t smart enough

· You’ll be certain that someone else did it (whatever “it” is) better

And before you know it, you’ll have talked yourself right out of launching your new program, asking for a JV partnership, or writing your book. In no time at all, you’ll be back at your day job, working away on someone else’s business because you don’t have the confidence to create your own.

But a simple mindset change can make all the difference.

That dreaded but oh so necessary money-making activity is to blame for a lot of stress, overwhelm, and depression and it's not hard to figure out why. 

When you're scrolling and seeing all those AMAZING online entrepreneurs doing what you're doing, you might inadvertently go into what I call "comparison-itis".

It's not a fun place to be because you're in your head thinking that you're just not good enough and don't have enough to offer. This "good enough" issue stretches in several parts of our lives but the last thing we need is to be feeling this way in our business. It's hard enough to figure out your marketing message but when you're constantly thinking negative thoughts about being sales-y or that no one wants what you're selling, no wonder people are failing with their social media attempts.

What money blocks sabotage your success when you want to manifest money?

For you to be able to manifest money in your life as an entrepreneur, you need to have an understanding of what blocks you currently have. Ultimately, these blocks are what sabotage us and prevent us from feeling good about the money that we have or bringing it into our lives.

What would you say if I told you that having more money isn’t so much about changing the way you work as much as it is changing the way you think? And what if I told you that you have the ability to make as much money as you want? Would you say I was crazy? Off my rocker? Not making any sense?

I get it. After all, for our entire lives, we’ve been told that the only way to have more money is to either win the lottery or simply work harder. The odds of you winning the lottery are small – and besides, there’s a much better way to make money.

As an entrepreneur, you already know that. We use our minds and take inspired action but what's important to know is, if we don't have the money that we want in our lives and we want to manifest money overnight, there's likely a block that we need to uncover before any magic will happen.

Wealth rarely comes without belief and intention on its own. I think we'd all agree with that. As entrepreneurs, we realize there's some work to be done but that work is both external AND internal. 

It’s possible to luck your way into financial abundance, but the odds aren’t in your favor. While a wealth mindset isn’t enough to create wealth, it makes wealth possible. If you’re struggling financially, your mindset is the best place to start. It doesn’t cost anything to have a wealth mindset.

The podcast series that I'm doing here is all about the inner aspects of manifesting money. We do a lot of talk about strategy on this podcast but not enough of the mindset in my opinion. I’ve been getting a lot of questions lately from my prospects and my clients around sales objections and how to actually get clients in a sales conversation so I thought we’re due for another podcast going into detail to help you out so you’ll be ready for the next time you’re doing a sales call.

Handling objections is a necessary skill for any salesperson or entrepreneur. There's a certain mindset you need to have in order to handle a sales objection effectively.

When your prospect has an objection, this is where most people start to feel bad or uncertain: the stress for failure increases. They begin to fumble in the conversation and have internal dialog that sabotages their success. 

Often the thoughts have to do with their own financial goals rather than building a relationship with the prospect and this is a huge mistake. 

If we have something to sell, we'll need proper digital marketing that pre-sells as well as a way to prequalify someone because we're interviewing them as much as they're interviewing us.

Learning how to monetize any skill requires many things, especially learning how to eliminate the employee mindset and grow an entrepreneur mindset. In our challenging world, people are fed up with it and want to take control of their lives and their financial situation and an online business is smart, after all, it is the digital age. 

We talk about all things entrepreneurship on this podcast but I haven't really talked about starting from scratch with a skill and actually making money with it. 

When you realize that each time you go to your 9-5 job that you're helping to make someone else rich, it might just get your goat. Being visible online can be terrifying especially if you're not used to telling the world what you do.
