Today I share a great opportunity, I had to sit on a women's panel to discuss women's issues that we face personally and professionally on the Success Is Within Reach Podcast hosted by Shannon Smith. To expand your worldview and be a change agent, it's important to understand the experiences of others.  Understanding leads to empathy and it allows you to see the world from the lens of different experiences to help address the root causes or become an advocate for under-represented groups such as women of color.

As we continue celebrating Women's History Month we should not only aim to highlight to contribution of women personally and professionally but become change agents to improve the representation of women in leadership and management.  

During the pandemic, women especially women of color were the most impacted by job loss or making the decision to pivot professionally to maintain the household.  As schools closed and daycare support decreased so has the participation of women in companies and organizations.  

This is not only a impact within the United States but globally.  Women representation is a GLOBAL ISSUE!!
