Episode 234: AIM Investing: Rapid Wealth Accumulation, with Jeff Weber

I was born in the Bronx which is part of New York City. I became interested in investing as my article on buying the Erie-Lackawanna RR will show. I had my first article published in Railroad Model Craftsman (model trains- published in Ramsey, NJ) in July, 1965 when I was 18. I went to college at the University of Arizona where I haunted used book stores for books on investing. I finally found the perfect book – Robert Lichello’s How to Make $1,000,000 in the Stock Market Automatically. This book showed the perfect system to make great profits for life. I liked his book so much that I started getting ideas on how I could write my own book and improve on the ideas that Mr. Lichello invented.

My original investing book was written under strange conditions about as far away as you can get from the New York stocks markets – in Tunduchan, Korea (10 miles from DMZ), Maffle, Belgium, and Weilerbach Germany. The beauty of Lichello’s system is that it doesn’t require you to be near the stock market to play. Lichello’s system is very simple and effective, and I have made it even more effective with my ideas on adding Bear Strategy to both investing in stocks and long-term options (LEAPs).

I have published my own monthly newsletter for the last twenty-six years. I have constantly rewritten my investing book which you can order for free at (http://www.jjjinvesting.com) and from my original book written over 20 years ago comes this third AIM book.

I went to college at the University of Arizona and got a bachelor's degree in history & Government. Then law school for a year and a half & then to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for a bachelor's in accounting.

I worked for the US Army and the US Air Force as an auditor and management analysts for 33 years and am a proud draftee who fought in the Vietnam War. I lived 17 years in Germany, Korea, Japan & Belgium.

I am now retired working full-time to make AIM the best possible profitable way to invest. Thanks to finding Brett as my partner, JJJ Investing Services is much better.

I am the leading teacher of using AIM with long-term options (LEAPS) in the world. How do I know? At least 10 times I have been the only buyer or seller of LEAPS of a particular LEAPS at a certain Strike Price – so when I see JD LEAPS Jan 2021 Strike 30 sold 5 contracts it was my 5 contracts!

Since I am the only one teaching how to use AIM with long-term options, I feel a special obligation to share with all my knowledge. My third adds the latest information, “hacks” for using AIM for wealthy investors. There is also plenty for all investors big and small to make you the best AIM investor you can be.

Episode 232: Building Wealth through Property Investment, with Christopher Finlay

Chris Finlay began investing in real estate early in his career as a commercial airline pilot with Eastern Airlines. Casual investing soon evolved into a major commercial real estate business, and in 1983 Chris resigned from Eastern to concentrate exclusively on the Finlay Company. During the ensuing years, Chris grew the company into one of the largest real estate firms in New England.

In 1990, he began to focus on real estate development and over the next fifteen years developed, constructed, and managed approximately 40 multifamily and senior housing communities and luxury condominiums.

The Great Recession of 2008 provided numerous investment opportunities in the multifamily arena, and after a few years of investing for his own account, Chris established Lloyd Jones to offer outside investors an opportunity to participate in his acquisitions. A few years later, he added senior living and development subsidiaries to capitalize on the exploding demand for senior housing. More recently, seeing acquisition opportunities in the hospitality industry, he added a hotel investment division.

Today, Chris leverages his successful 43-year track record and experience to lead Lloyd Jones and all its subsidiaries as chairman and CEO.

Chris’s education includes Upper Canada College and post-graduate studies at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. He has also completed extensive industry training. He is on the board of the National Multifamily Housing Council, a member of The American Seniors Housing Association, and a strong supporter of Shelters to Shutters, a non-profit organized to connect individuals facing homelessness to opportunities for employment and housing within the multifamily community.
