Season 2: E7 | Tackle Student Loan Debt with Latina Tech Founder, Tanya Menendez

38m · Published 21 Sep 15:03

Tanya Menendez is one of the very few Latinas in tech who has created multiple successful companies after working in finance. She's a true badass! Her story is a commonly shared one among Latinx families: immigrant parents on a limited income working unforgiving jobs to get their child to and through college. Tanya talks about spending thousands of dollars for lifetime services at a company but then that company went out of business! So much for "lifetime!" Losing thousands of dollars not only hurt her credit, but taught her a huge money lesson at the age of 19, and like many of us - she hid the entire thing from her family! Tune in to be truly inspired by Tanya's story and the goal and mission of her company, Snowball Wealth.
