12: Ep 12 - Listen To Yourself And Accept Help

55m · Published 31 May 04:59
This week, I talk to my amazing friend Melissa Meyer. Cover art photo - circa 2006? We laugh, we cry (ok, let's be honest… I CRY…), we just had the best conversation. Melissa opens up to me about an abusive relationship that she was in that caused her to cut people out of her life, myself included. We talk about at what moment she realized there was a problem and how she got through it. Below are some links and phone numbers to hotlines and support groups for anyone who may need a place to go, someone to call, or any other help. The National Domestic Violence Hotline [www.thehotline.org](www.thehotline.org) 1-800-799-7233 YWCA [https://www.ywca.org](https://www.ywca.org) Depending on where you're located, there will be different centers and organizations that can help you if you don't have a strong support system to help you immediately. Reach out. People are always waiting to help you. One world. One love. We are all in this together. Thanks, as always, for listening, and hope you enjoy. kthanksbye<3

11: Ep. 11 - Alone But Not Lonely

12m · Published 24 May 15:53
This week, I talk about being an introvert. I found a great blog post by Lori Elliot on her blog[Redefining Quiet](redefiningquiet.com)called 10 Confusing Contradictions About Introverts. It was such a great read for me, so I break it all down in relation to my personal journey as an introvert. As some of you may be aware, I have a lot of extroverted tendencies, and I address that in this episode as well. Hope you find this to be helpful if you're an introvert and also helpful to those of you who have loved ones who are introverts. It really explains a lot. Happy Listening! KTHANKSBYE<3

9: Ep. 9 - The Art of Being Yourself

7m · Published 10 May 04:01
Heyo! This week, I talk about the art of being yourself. I think so many of us worry more about impressing others or being viewed in a certain light rather than expecting to be loved for who we really are. Join me in being the true version of YOU. Of course, always thrive to be the best version of yourself FOR YOURSELF, and nobody else. Happy listening! KTHANKSBYE<3

I often feel weaker for these faults, but come to a realization that these self discovery is strengthening me as a person. I dive a little deeper about my stage fright in this episode through talking about my "failures" in my past. I truly believe that failures can be some of the best tools for future success. 56m · Published 19 Apr 15:51
This week, I talk to my friend Lisa Nunes about struggles in life and letting go. Turning negative events in your life into positives and finding happiness in life by letting go of past events. I really think the message of this episode is making sure not to let bad things that happen in your life consume you. Realize that you have people around you who want the best for you and depend on them. Let go of any resentment and anger from the past for the person who you want to be - for yourself and for the people in your life. Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE, RATE, & REVIEW on Apple Podcast. 5: Ep. 5 - Forgive Yourself and Start Your Life

10m · Published 12 Apr 05:18
Hi all, thank you for joining me again this week. This was a very difficult episode for me because it is extremely personal, and I've never been the best at sharing any hardships or my feelings. I wanted to share my past struggles with depression because I wanted to be transparent on this podcast BECAUSE I really want anyone else who has gone through this or who is going through this to know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE. And this may sound cliche, but it does get better. It most definitely CAN get better. It may take time, effort, and maybe something else completely from left field. This was supposed to be an intro to my starting to go to see a therapist, but ended up digging much deeper. I hope to continue expanding on my progress with therapy and dealing with some deep rooted issues I might have. Thanks again for being here. Don't forget to subscribe, rate, and review. They really matter. kthanksbye<3

4: Ep. 4 - Why Would You Need A Clock?

53m · Published 05 Apr 04:18
My lovely friend Nicole and I talk about hardships during childhood as well as struggles as an adult. We discuss the roadblocks she had getting to where she is now. The effects that drinking had on her life in a negative and a positive way and of how she rose above the shitty situation she created for herself. I want to stretch how serious driving under the influence is and how it can affect, not only your life, but lives of those around you. I hope this episode can bring some light to anyone who has been in a similar situation and hope that you will realize that there are brighter days ahead!
