20. Day One Dollar Zero Ft. Will Grimes

1h 12m · Published 25 Apr 11:05

This was a really fun episode to record. Will Grimes is a former marine turned real estate beast & YouTube millionaire who has grown like crazy in the last 5 years. We dive into our longtime friendship & the dynamics of that early on and then Will shares key pieces of his story that has led him to where he is today.

There are so many nuggets from this guy and as the episode goes on, it gets better & better. By the end, I had goosebumps as we talked about Will's paradigm shift after having a son, his strategies to standing out in his industry & our burning desire to help others.

Follow Will on all platforms @Will_Grimes & check out his podcast, "Day One Dollar Zero".

19. Motivations: "Experiences vs. Things"

31m · Published 17 Apr 11:03

This episode has been on my mind for a while. Some people are motivated by material things - some not at all. Some people are motivated by experiences. Some people are minimalist and would tell you they don't need any of that... All are fine.

I dive into all of this while sharing a couple of personal stories with you, talking about being "humble", and at the end, I share a quote that I live by & I think anyone can benefit from. Ultimately, I hope this episode makes you realize that you should pursue whatever equals happiness for YOU - Living someone else's idea of your life is a recipe for misery.

55m · Published 21 Mar 11:05

15. Ego is the Enemy & Mentors are Cheat Codes

20m · Published 13 Jan 13:30

On this episode, I dive into the topics of mentorship, coaches & how your ego is the enemy - how your ego can hold you back from reaching your potential in any area of life if you let it. I also share a personal business experience that completely changed the trajectory of my company & life.

Are you self aware enough to know if your ego is getting in the way?

Ego is what prevents you from hearing critical but necessary feedback from others.

Ego makes you over-estimate your own abilities & worth, and under-estimate the effort & skill required to achieve goals.

Overall, ego can cause you to miss opportunities — to improve, to connect with others, and to achieve your goals.

Ego costs you time. So put your ego down & seek help - find a real life cheat code:
