Teresa is a Certified Sexual Assault Victim’s Advocate and has been recognized many times over for her ability to provide positive leadership in the challenging field of human services. She holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s of Social Work from Florida State University. Teresa relocated with her family to Northeast Florida in 2016, taking on the role of Executive Director for the Women’s Center of Jacksonville. Since that time she has been instrumental in raising funds and creating the community’s first stand-alone Sexual Assault Forensic Exam (SAFE) Center. The SAFE Center offers a healing environment for survivors of sexual assault where they are supported by a trauma informed, professional staff who are available 24 hours a day. LOUIS RAMEY’S BIO:

Louis Ramey is an American stand-up comedian from Atlanta, Georgia. He started performing comedy while in college after being dared to perform by his friends

He was featured in his own episode of Comedy Central Presents in 2001. It was filmed at the Hudson Theatre, in New York City. In 2008, he was a finalist on Last Comic Standing 6. On July 31, he was voted into the top 5. He finished in 5th place. He was then the host of the Last Comic Standing tour, in which he performed along with the 4 other finalists.

He briefly worked for Nickelodeon as a member of the Nick at Nite "Road Crew".

Comedian and former Daily Show correspondent Wyatt Cenac named Ramey as one of his comedy influences, saying that "I remember seeing guys like Vince Morris and Louis Ramey do stuff that wasn’t what you saw on ComicView".

MELISSA WIGGINS BIO:
Cannonball Kids’ cancer Foundation was founded in 2014 with the mission to fund innovative, accessible research for children fighting cancer to provide better treatments and quality of life, and educate for change.

Melissa and her husband, Michael Wiggins, founded Cannonball Kids' cancer Foundation on June 16, 2014 with a mission to eradicate kids' cancer.

Melissa Wiggins is mum (mom) to Cannon, who was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma cancer when he was 20 months old. They were told he had a 50% chance of survival.

During Cannon’s year and a half of treatments, Melissa saw the horrific effects first-hand. They watched Cannon suffer through surgeries and “diluted” chemical treatments meant for adults, which caused him loss of hearing and decay to all of his teeth. They watched their son bleed from the inside out and be dragged to death’s doorstep in their quest to save him. They know this tragic reality all too well. They know there has to be a better way. They know that no other child should have to suffer the same as their child.

This experience motivated her to spend hundreds of hours researching and learning about the enormous lack of funding and research dedicated to pediatric cancer and effects, such as secondary cancers, that occur as a result of antiquated treatments.

Out of their unwavering faith and commitment, they founded Cannonball Kids’ cancer. Out of their anger, they became determined to be a part of the solution. Out of their persistence, they know funding research will unlock the cure. Research Is the Key!

DON YAEGER'S BIO:
As an award-winning keynote speaker, business leadership coach, eleven-time New York Times best-selling author, and longtime Associate Editor for Sports Illustrated, Don Yaeger has fashioned a career as one of America’s most provocative thought leaders. As a speaker, he has worked with audiences as diverse as Fortune 500 companies and cancer survivor groups, where he shares his personal story.

He is primarily sought to discuss lessons on achieving greatness, learned from first-hand experiences with some of the greatest sports legends in the world. He is also often retained by companies and organizations to coach their leaders, management teams, and employees on building a culture of greatness by studying great teams in sports and discerning the business lessons we can learn from them.

Additionally, as an Executive Coach, Yaeger has worked with a range of leaders from the president of the largest bank in the Caribbean to CEOs of financial services companies to technology executives. His coaching model is based on years of experience and study with those who have inspired championship-level teams.

Few journalists can lay claim to as exciting and colorful a career as Don Yaeger. In the three decades since he accepted his first newspaper job in Texas, the breadth of his assignments has been astounding. He has traveled the world in pursuit of stories as diverse as:

• Hiking through Afghanistan with the Mujahadeen as they fought the Soviets
• Going into Baghdad with the victorious Iraqi soccer team as the battle between insurgents and the US military waged around them
• Visiting China in pursuit of underworld characters counterfeiting American golf clubs
• Heading to Damascus to find the last living terrorist from the 1972 Olympics
• Living with football legend Walter Payton and his family as Payton was dying
• Journeying around Europe and the Middle East interviewing Iraqi athletes tortured by Saddam Hussein’s son Uday, chairman of the Iraqi Olympic Committee
• Traveling with candidates from both parties during presidential campaigns
• Chronicling the high-profile Duke lacrosse scandal

Yaeger began his career as a reporter for the San Antonio Light where he rose through the ranks to pen investigative features for the daily. He later moved on to the Dallas Morning News. Following his time in Dallas, Yaeger worked as a political editor for the Florida Times-Union.

After four years, he decided to dedicate himself to the pursuit of writing books. Yaeger’s first book, Undue Process: The NCAA’s Injustice for All, was published in 1990. In the nearly 30 years since, he has penned 28 more books, including eleven New York Times best-sellers, including:

Yaeger also wrote A Game Plan For Life, with legendary coach John Wooden. It was published on Coach’s 99th birthday in October 2009. Movie rights to four of Yaeger’s books have been sold, with two slated for nationwide release in 2019.

After several years of freelancing for Sports Illustrated, Yaeger joined the magazine’s staff full-time in July 1996. Two years later, he was promoted to Associate Editor where his job was to cover not just sporting events but also the off-the-field happenings that affect the world of sports. He took an early retirement from full-time work at SI in 2008, but continues to freelance for the magazine.

Yaeger and his co-author William Nack were finalists for a 2000 National Magazine Award in the public interest category for their cover story “Who’s Coaching Your Kid?: The frightening truth about child molestation in youth sports.” This important piece triggered follow-up reports by programs such as Dateline, 20/20 and The Oprah Winfrey Show. It also resulted in changes to the law in several states and several youth sports organizations, including Little League of America, which changed rules to require background checks of coaches and volunteers.

Born and raised in Hawaii, Yaeger has traveled extensively and lived abroad in the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Japan and Great Britain. A 1984 graduate of Ball State University, Yaeger currently lives in Tallahassee, FL. He also owns a political consulting business and a public relations firm. He and his wife Jeanette have a son and a daughter.

Kathleen Wood, CEO and Co-Founder of Suzy’s Swirl. In August of 2012, Kathleen and her business partner and sister, Sue Tierno, launched their innovative frozen dessert company - Suzy’s Swirl. Suzy’s Swirl features sorbetto, gelato, and yogurt in multiple delivery styles. Their vision is to re-ignite the American Dream through swirling frozen goodness, swirling greatness and swirling gratitude. In January 2019, Suzy’s Swirl introduced it’s newest retail product line liquor-infused frozen yogurts and sorbettos - Suzy’s Swirl Spirits.

Kathleen also founded her own growth strategy firm over 20 years ago, cleverly named Kathleen Wood Partners. Today, her company guides Founders, Entrepreneurs and Business Owners with strategies to transform their visions to reality. Her practice focuses on providing practical strategies for accelerating growth, optimizing brand competitiveness and building high-performing teams.

Kathleen is a nationally recognized growth strategist, motivational speaker, and author, and a proven leader in business and non- profits. She blends her corporate sensibility and rigor with entrepreneurial vigor and innovation to deliver sustainable solutions. In 2010, she published her first book, The BEST Shift of Your Life – The Restaurant Manager’s Guide for Success Outside the Restaurant. In 2019, she will release her second book about Founders and how employees can excel with entrepreneurs.

Prior to founding her companies, Kathleen had a very successful executive career working for leading companies such as: The Educational Foundation of the National Restaurant Association, MasterCard International and T.G.I. Fridays. Kathleen also served as the President and COO of Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers from 2005–2007. During her tenure, she led the organization through the impacts of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, as well as the extensive recovery process that followed and through an unprecedented 100% growth in two years.

She is the co-founder of Foodservice Council for Women. Kathleen is a past president and board member of Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers. She is also a past Executive Committee Member and Board Member for Women’s Foodservice Forum and Bama International. Kathleen is the winner of the 2019 WBENC-PepsiCo Pitch competition for her pitch on Suzy’s Swirl liquor-infused frozen yogurts and sorbettos.

Kathleen holds a Bachelors of Science degree in hotel restaurant and management from University of Wisconsin – Stout and Master in Business Administration from Loyola University of Chicago.
