#23 The Drama Required to Succeed! w/Justin Breen; The Successful Solopreneurs Podcast

26m · Published 26 Jan 00:08

Justin was born with a story, it was inevitable that he would discover this as his ‘superpower’. He found his father’s diary after his passing and discovered that he writes just like his dad.

We talk about excavating your real stories to get into news media and connecting with potential clients.

Justin shares his own journey of losing the stability in his journalism career to launching what has become a million-dollar company, working with the highest level entrepreneurs- after reaching out to 5000 potential clients (he started with 5).

He says that the best entrepreneurs don’t come from sunshine and rainbows; the leaders he knows have all overcome some or all of these: bankruptcy, depression, high anxiety or childhood trauma.

A little reminiscent of Yoda, you will learn that there are no excuses, we must decide to ‘get it done’! If you feel that you were born an entrepreneur, then the message in this episode will ring true and probably give you a glimpse toward your next step to success.

A combination of the Japanese words “iki” (生き), which translates to “life,” and “gai” (甲斐), which is used to describe value or worth, ikigai is all about finding joy in life through purpose.
