She served as an independent director on the Boards of a few companies and is a Member-at-large on the Executive Council of CGAP.

In between entrepreneurship, public speaking, contributing articles, and points of view on business and finance, she also writes short fiction and is the founder of the Indian Novels Collective, an initiative to popularize translation of Indian literature.
