Barb Murdocca Interview
1h 3m · PublishedBarb's commercial real estate career began 20 years ago in Washington, DC. She served in several property management roles, eventually overseeing approximately 1MM square feet of commercial space in the DC/MD/VA markets. This role required working closely with brokerage and construction teams to ensure ownership investment goals were met and that buildings were 100% occupancy. Several of her assignments included properties within an asset portfolio, which were underperforming. These properties required an overhaul to operations and developing an effective capital improvement plan, resulting in improved ownership ROI.
Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer, she provides the firm leadership and operational oversight by improving client engagement and assisting our team of professionals in various aspects of commercial real estate. Additionally, as a licensed agent, she can assist clients with their real estate goals and serve on several CRE teams in achieving the acquisition and disposition requirements of their customers.
Barb has multifaceted experience in commercial real estate. Those companies she chose to affiliate with saw improved performance and positive financial gains. Barb has developed aggressive marketing strategies, improved client/customer engagement, contributed to industry-specific education development, cultivated a team office environment, and managed with fiscal responsibility.
