In this episode of the Wealth Redefined Podcast, Shay Moinuddin recounts her journey into the aesthetic industry. With a background in nursing and a master's degree in healthcare administration, Moinuddin found herself in the right place at the right time when botox was first FDA approved.

She took a gap in her career to raise her children, but when she decided to return to work, she walked around Chicago with her resume and landed a job at a med spa in the Gold Coast.

With no prior experience, she was trained on the spot and has now been in the industry for almost 20 years.

Moinuddin also mentions that she is first generation and her parents immigrated from India in the 1960s. She shares how her parents were disappointed when she decided to pursue nursing instead of becoming a doctor, but now they are proud of her success in the industry.

Currently, Moinuddin works at the Few Institute, which is a one-stop shop for cosmetic procedures such as skincare, lasers, injectables, cool sculpting, and body contouring.

She works alongside a well-known plastic surgeon, Julius Few, and the institute has an office in Beverly Hills. Moinuddin got the job at the Few Institute through a mutual friend during the recession of 2008.

Moinuddin's story highlights the importance of being in the right place at the right time and taking advantage of opportunities that come your way. It also shows that success can come from unexpected paths, as Moinuddin's background in nursing and healthcare administration led her to a career in the aesthetic industry.

Moinuddin's story also presents the idea that immigrant stories can be different from what people expect and that it's important to follow one's own passion and interest.

Arrabella Schippers: Creator of the RV Method for Achieving Health and Wellness

21m · Published 02 Jan 14:00

Arrabella Schippers is the creator of the ARVA method, an approach to health and wellness that focuses on activating, restoring, vitalizing, and achieving. Schippers has been working in the holistic health and fitness industry since 2005, and developed the ARVA method after working with thousands of people and identifying common challenges in their journey towards a healthy lifestyle.

The ARVA method is designed to meet people where they are and provide them with the tools, resources, and support they need to achieve their goals and live a happier, healthier life.

Schippers emphasizes the importance of addressing hidden obstacles and approaches wellness from the perspective of habit, mindfulness, and self-awareness.

Schippers' passion for health and wellness stems from her own experiences growing up with a disabled mother who struggled with chronic Lyme's disease. Her mother was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and told she would not likely live past the age of 30.

After being diagnosed with Berg Doy, the bacterial pathogen that causes Lyme's disease, her mother has managed to live a long and healthy life.

Lyme's disease is often controversial due to differing beliefs about treatment. Some believe that it can be cured with a single round of antibiotics, but others argue that the spirochete bacteria that causes the disease can go dormant and hide within cells, making it difficult to eradicate.

Schippers advocates for a holistic approach to treating Lyme's disease, including addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the illness.

Overall, the ARVA method is an innovative approach to health and wellness that acknowledges the individual needs and challenges of each person. By addressing hidden obstacles and taking a holistic approach, the ARVA method empowers people to achieve their goals and live a happier, healthier life.

Anthony’s story begins in high school, while trying to prepare himself for the upcoming freshman football season. On the recommendation of his coaches and trainers, Anthony participated in pole vaulting on his school’s track and field team.
