Living Life Awake

Welcome, listeners, to Women Emerging Fearlessly, the podcast dedicated to helping women live with fearless confidence, and to know how amazing they truly are. I’m your host, Janelle Anderson, and in Episode 71, I share a conversation with Kristin Walker, who is a National Board Certified Early Childhood Specialist committed to being a part of the improvement in her community. As a member of the National Association for Family and Community Education, she has volunteered countless hours in serving the needs of local children and families. Her research about the brain has driven her to reach out to families, helping them traverse the terrain of teenage-hood, triumphantly! She is the author of Living Life Awake, which will come out in late summer.

In this episode, she shares what happened in her own life that inspired the writing of her book, how she hopes it will help teenagers and parents, and we discuss the impact of emotions and how useful they can be when we learn to read, understand and respond to them appropriately. Kristin also participated in my program, Fearless Confidence Formula, and she shares a little bit about that experience and how she benefited from it.

You can find out more about her on her website, www.mindfulbehavior.net.
