40m · Published 02 Jul 14:43
In this episode of Wise Up! I talk to Calvin Cooper, category creator and virtuous disruptor and all-around wise dude about taking the helm and creating opportunities for everyone to own a stake in their communities and their lives. He’s launched RENTERSHIP to do just that, and Fast Company featured this new groundbreaking idea in the real estate and homeownership space. We get into Aristotelian ethics, what our founding fathers wanted for us, and what it means to be connected to the land and community. Calvin has a lot to teach us about how to lead and do principle-driven work. We’re going to see more of Calvin in the future. Calvin Cooper is the co-founder and CEO of Rhove, a fintech company founded on the belief that everyone has the right to invest in their home. Rhove expands access and opportunity for everyone to own in their community. Prior to founding Rhove, Calvin was a Director and Venture Partner at an early stage venture capital firm located in the Midwest. Calvin is active in community and entrepreneur support organizations. He serves on the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center YEx Advisory Board.
