#6 - The Biggest Digital Trend of 2021

54m · Published 04 Jan 18:16

In this episode, we are joined by Max Maharajh the Founder of Be A Bear, a digital strategy agency that drives revenue and engages real people. Max has previously worked with the likes of Facebook, Lad Bible and Sony to name a few, so what he doesn't know about the digital world, in our view, isn't worth knowing.

We kick off with hearing about how Max's agency has faired during the testing times of 2020 and how they reacted to the pandemic. From hiring opportunities to client management, he gives an insight from another agency into how to cope with curveballs like COVID.

We then come onto talking through some of the key digital trends of 2020 and those which Max thinks are here to stay, and those who are merely a flash in the pan! Max then puts his money where his mouth is and puts some bets down on some VERY controversial predictions for 2021. Could this year be the year we say goodbye to TikTok? Will Instagram still continue to dominate everything? Will LinkedIn stories ever be a real thing?

Be sure to check out Max & Be A Bear on Instagram @maxrajh & @beabear.

#5 - Black Friday: a blessing or a curse?

32m · Published 23 Dec 11:01

In this episode, we reflect on Black Friday and the Cyber Weekend of 2020. It was (again!) the biggest ever. But what is Black Friday?

Black Friday has become the biggest calendar event of the year for big sales, consumerism and new customer acquisition. But it didn’t start that way.

Olly and Jamie discuss the more humble beginnings of Black Friday, what it meant then and why it was and still remains such a crucial date in the diary.

We also reflect on how much success clients of 303 have enjoyed over the Cyber Weekend of 2020, having already had a year of accelerated e-commerce growth, how big was big?

We also take a moment to politely remove some of the many LinkedIn warriors from their moral high ground of “Anti-Black Friday” sentiments, and explain why they are missing a big part of the point!

#4 Building a great brand w/ Ed Foy - CEO & Co-Founder of PRESS

1h 13m · Published 19 Aug 11:05

In this episode, we were delighted to be joined by Ed Foy, co-Founder and CEO of PRESS. PRESS is fast becoming one of the UK's best-known health and wellness brands, with a thriving direct to consumer business, as well as now stocking their juices, smoothies, soups and vegan meals in over 500 retailers throughout the UK, and now the world! PRESS recently struck a deal with Soho House Group to supply their juices worldwide, fair to say that's a pretty big moment.

Ed co-founded PRESS 6 years ago and the journey has been an incredibly interesting one. From selling juice out of a bathtub in Old Street Station, to having a chain to juice bars in London, to now running an online vegan-supermarket of sorts. Throughout the episode, there are many great lessons, including having multiple revenue streams, the art of pivoting businesses and how to keep smiling, even when it gets really tough!

Thanks very much to Ed for joining us on 303 Radio and be sure to check out his ever-amusing (but somewhat intermittent) IG content @edwardfoy, and if you haven't already, check out PRESS at www.press-london.com and @press_healthfoods ✌🏻
