To Pee Wee: A Farewell Love Letter

22m · Published 27 Jun 10:30

Today's episode is going to be a little different... I initially recorded this episode with no intention of releasing it. I just wanted to say goodbye to my Emotional Support, Pee Wee, the only way I knew how to. I needed to release my thoughts of pain, grief, and death. Pee Wee was a dog to the naked eye, but to me, he was my everything. This podcast wouldn't have existed if I didn't have him. The heartbeat to heartbeat connection I had with him was the only way I knew how to regulate my manic episodes and panic attacks. I hope this episode brings to light the importance of animals to those who suffer with mental illness. Grief has been brought back to my life again and I'm ready to talk it out loud with you, as I'm beautifully reminded by you all that I am not alone in this sadness. Thank you for being my Emotional Support. I love you Pee.
