AAA35 Non-Performing Second Mortgage Investing - Lindsay Gordon

Lindsay heard about the returns on non-performing second mortgages, and thought the returns were too good to be true. Her team wanted to check it out for themselves.

So they actually made the transition from buying single family rental homes over to buying non performing notes and actually becoming the mortgage holder.

When they compared the rate of return on first mortgages vs second mortgages, they found that the second mortgages performed greater because they can acquire them at a lower cost, as they are typically seen as a more risky asset.,

That being said, they’d rather bet on 10 second mortgages then 1 first mortgage for the same price.

AAA34 What's The BRRRR Strategy? - Brandon Turner

Brandon's first step into real estate was when he decided to sell his house for a profit of $20,000.

His motivation behind this was to go backpack through Europe. Turner pioneered the BRRR strategy before it was heavily marketed thing.

The story behind that is rather interesting.. Brandon simply couldn’t sell the house for what he wanted! So he got creative put a renter in the property, got it refinanced, and fell in love with the process.

Turner has also been involved in some house hacking as well as the growth of the well known BiggerPockets.

AAA30 Creative Real Estate Note Syndication - Adam L Adams

Adam L Adams started off with real estate investing by getting into multifamily syndications. He currently ones 130 units. Through this journey, he met an investor who turned him onto notes. To this day, Adam L Adams has done 68 notes!

All of which are first position residential notes. Adam L Adams also has done many land contracts too.

Currently, Adam took his experience from apartment syndications as well as note investing,. He merged the two together and started syndicating non- performing portfolios of notes.

These notes are purchased through different banking institutions.

Adam has done an incredible job leverage his strengths and outsourcing his weakness, providing this business scalability.
