They talk about playing all the characters, comedy, the complicated legacy of Snow White, performing for children, and the holiday season. 'Snow White' runs at the Carousel Theatre on Granville Island in Vancouver from November 29-December 31.

Javier Reyna is a writer and director and whose previous films include Regionrat. He currently has three scripts in production. His newest output is Due Justice, which follows a lawyer with a military background who decides to take revenge and hunt down the gang that killed his wife and brother and kidnapped his daughter. Javier talks about how the film was inspired by Sandy Hook, the importance of family, and we love dark things. The film stars Kellen Lutz, Jeff Fahey, and Efren "Vote For Pedro" Ramirez, and is available in theatres, Digital, and On Demand on November 24th.

John Ainslie is also a film director who loves the dark and the sinister. His latest effort Do Not Disturb, was inspired by his musing on "Honeymoon couple, cannibal sex". Interested in the connection between eating each other physically versus emotionally, Ainslie set the entire film in the hotel. He talks about shooting on a budget, his favourite B Movies, and his thoughts on the MCU. Do Not Disturb is now available on VOD and Digital

In season 5 of their documentary series "The Water Brothers" they look at Peatland, microplastics, and the world's oldest water, among other features. Season 5 is available now on TVO and youtube.

Jeremy Larter is a filmmaker from Prince Edward Island. PEI often gets left behind when talking about Atlantic Canada and the Maritimes but it has its own vernacular, slang and culture. That culture plays a big role in Jeremy's new film "Who's Yer Father" which opened in select cities on November 10th.

His newest film is Walden, starring Emile Hirsch, Shane West and David Keith. It will be in theatres starting November 10th, followed by on Demand and Digital starting December 12th.

Matthew Yerby is an actor, writer and director whose debut feature is The Dirty South. Starring Willa Holland, Shane West and Dermot Mulroney, it will be in theatres, on Demand and Digital starting November. The Dirty South has received an interim agreement from SAG-AFTRA.

Julio Soto Gurpide is a film director whose previous credits include Palestine, Deep, and Radiophobia. His latest is the animated comedy murder-mystery Inspector Sun. Think Agatha Christie's Murder on The Orient Express but with bugs. The film was released on October 27.

Nicol Paone is an actress, writer and director who got her start with the Groundlings and The Big Gay Sketch Show. She has moved behind the camera in recent years, writing and directing Friendsgiving. Her new film is the dark comedy The Kill Room, where the art world meets the criminal underbelly. Starring Uma Thurman, Joe Manganiello, and Samuel L. Jackson, the film will be released on November 3rd.

Jamaal Burkmar is an award-winning choreographer who first gained recognition for his piece 'Ocean' while studying at the Northern School for Contemporary Dance. The piece received critical acclaim and was later commissioned for VERVE, the postgraduate company at NSCD, making it the first and only undergraduate work to be featured. Jamaal was honored with the highly prestigious 'New Adventures Choreographer Award' and has since established himself as a prominent choreographer with a passion for music and composition. He has received commissions and support from various organizations such as the Dance Hub in Birmingham, Leeds Dance Partnership, Phoenix Dance Theatre, and Mobius Dance.

Cru Ennis & Lee Roy Kunz are the creative team behind the new horror film "Deliver Us", which releases on September 29th. Starring Thomas Kretschmann and Alexander Siddig, it follow a nun at a rural convent who claims immaculate conception, only to have the Vatican come after her.

Leanne Simpson is an indigenous-Canadian singer-songwriter, author, and multimedia performer. She is the force behind the new narrative short film and music video I Pity The Country, which in turn is her cover of the classic song by the great Willie Dunn. Teaming up with fellow indigenous filmmakers Lisa Jackson and Conor McNally, the film uses found footage to a story about the indigenous Canadian experience. It was released on September 29, just ahead of Canada's National Truth and Reconciliation Day.
