34. How big moves towards "future you" makes a big impact. #burnthebridge

28m · Published 22 Oct 13:29

Sometimes we need a little nudge in the right direction.

If you’ve listened to my podcasts before, you know that I’m always sharing lessons and things I’ve learned because I wish I would have had that for myself when I was moving towards my big goals but just not quite there yet.

If you're experiencing big changes right now, and figuring out what you want, who you are, and what future you looks like, you will relate to this episode for sure.

Listen in for 3 things I think you'll need when you’re “burning the bridge” and really going after what you want out of life!

32. Why I quit my job(!!), and how you can use your intuition to help you make tough decisions.

35m · Published 08 Oct 13:30
It’s true. Yesterday was my last day as a Coach with Beachbody, and after 4 years of being a Beachbody Coach (and part of an MLM), and almost 11 years of fitness being my true passion, I’m not sure I've processed it all yet!    However, if you have followed the podcast for a while, you know that I am all about figuring out who the most authentic version of Christy is... and this was one step I needed to make on that journey. In this episode I’m sharing why I quit, and the 3 tools that helped me know it was right for me. If you know something in your life has run its course but haven’t made the leap yet, I think you’ll dig this episode. ✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩✩ Thanks for rating, sharing, leaving positive reviews and sending me DM’s about your thoughts on the episodes! 31. If you think it's going to be difficult, it is. If you think it can be easy, it will be. Your beliefs fuel your outcomes.

30m · Published 02 Oct 14:44

I have been doing recon on this topic for months… and it is pretty controversial.

I even did a podcast on a similar topic a few months ago, and had people messaging me about how it made them think differently.  So  I wanted to dive a little deeper.

Generally speaking:

If you can be viewed as having "worked hard" to "earn" something = you deserve success and all the wonderful things in the world.

We say:  "Way to go Suzie, you worked SO hard for this.  You deserve it."

If it is too easy, or the stars aligned, or you had help, or you got LUCKY = "It must be nice to be Linda." *insert eye roll here*

In both circumstances you get the same result, and underneath it all we would all like having things come easier to us.

So WHY when something good happens to someone, do we default to how “hard work” is the only (acceptable) way there?

My goal by the end of this episode is for you to know that you also have the ability to have more ease in your life, and maybe even better parking spots. :)

I'll give you some perspective on what would happen if we stopped working hard to please societies expectations of working hard, and focused more on what we're worthy of, and how our mindset is at the forefront of all of it!

Listen in, and come with an open mind! ;)

30. Feel like you're stuck in a rut? Here's some ways to use it to grow instead.

34m · Published 24 Sep 10:36

Rut: (noun) a habit or pattern of behavior that has become dull and unproductive, but is hard to change. (see: boring routine)

Feeling stuck, or stagnant can be so frustrating.  And I personally have been in a rut, and back out of a rut, many times.  So I decided to share how you can know when you're in a rut, what you can do to get out of it, and what you can learn from it to continue to grow.

Side note: I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this before (maybe like...13874613 times) but I generally figure out my next podcast topic through things I’ve either been through in the past or things I am currently going through.  I am very much speaking from experience here. :)

If you’re in a phase of life where you know you’re not at your goals, but you’re also just treading water, this is the episode to listen to on your way to work this morning!

29. Trigger Warning: Why we feel "triggered" by things and what it actually means.

33m · Published 10 Sep 11:25

Anyone else cry during Steve from Blues Clues video he posted this week? Just me? ;)

That video triggered some things in me from childhood (abandonment, pushed down emotions, closure) and I knew it had to be the topic for this weeks podcast. There is SO much in the world right now that we can feel triggered by, and the good news is, you have more control than you may think over how it makes you feel.

In this episode I’m sharing a couple examples of common triggers, how your normal state of being doesn’t have to be on edge, and what we learn when we stop pointing the fingers at how others “make us feel” and realize those emotions are coming up for us to be able to heal.

28. Words are powerful. This is why what you mentally consume is as important as what you physically consume.

26m · Published 03 Sep 12:00

If you have a TV, or a computer, or talk to aaaaany other humans during the day, you know there is an incredible amount of information available to take in, and from all angles. It can be completely overwhelming and mentally consuming.

If you have felt a lot of emotions lately around what’s happening in the world, or even just personally about your own goals and accomplishments, this is a podcast you need to listen to.

It’s important to remember that every emotion you feel, or bad vibes that you notice, do not necessarily all belong to you.

In this episode I’ll help you release the weight of other peoples opinions and show you how to be kind to your mind. :)

27. If you're failing, you're growing, and other things I wish someone told me early on in following my path.

24m · Published 27 Aug 10:34

*EXCITING NEWS* The Chase Your Stars Journal is here!  I've created an easy way to kickstart your mornings with one part being grateful for all the goodness in your life, and one part manifesting more incredible things into your life.  Each day has prompts that you can choose from, depending on how you're feeling that day. (PS. Yay for having options and not 1000 different things to fill out!).

If you don't have a consistent morning routine right now, and wake up feeling rushed, grouchy, or flustered, I guarantee spending 5-10 minutes with this journal will shift your mood for the day.

You can check it out here! bit.ly/chaseyourstarsjournal

Whew, chasing your stars can be a wild ride.

One of the things I’ve learned as an entrepreneur is that failure is a good thing, because it means you’re really going for it, and GROWING. But, it’s too easy to fall into the trap of thinking that you are the only one going through the tough stuff, while everyone else sits at the top of the mountain admiring their achievements.

Well I’m here to tell you, that EVERYONE has a middle, and I’m also currently in one. In this podcast I’m talking about things I wish someone else would have told me while I was getting to where I’m at now. Stay til the end for a little pep talk. :)
